I do have a fenced in back yard and large dog crate, when I care for your dog at their home they have the benefit of staying in their familiar environment. I’m currently working part time and am in school. If I am watching an animal I adjust my schedule so I can spend as much time with the animal as possible. I have a friendly dog and a cat. If your pet gets a long it can roam the house. I can crate dog if needed. I generally will take your dog for a daily walk if weather permits. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.

I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone.
