I’m a VetBloom Certified Veterinary Assistant, one of the few NAAVTA-approved programs, and I spent the summer working at a small animal hospital. About: Hello, I have been taking care of a wide range of animals since I was 15. I’ve had 5 ferrets, guinea pigs, cats and dogs my whole life. I have a Staffordshire terrier, an American bully, and a black lab/ leopard catahoula mix. I am used to having a heavy dog on the opposite end of the leash and I am well experienced in animal body language to keep your baby and myself safe. I am an independent contractor who does Rover, Spark, DoorDash and a couple other side gigs. I have worked a 9-5 and it was incredibly difficult following a schedule someone else made for me while trying to manage my kids school and sports schedule's. Since becoming an independent contractor I have gained great relationships with residents of Culpeper and Rappahannock county and more time with my kids. These side gigs help provide me a way to bring in income, socalize, work easily with my kids school and sport schedules and give me the flexibility to rest when my autoimmune disease flares up. I will make sure any and all instructions are followed correctly to ensure adequate and safe service. Plus a few head rubs before I left.

“Anastasia was amazing with my dogs. I waited until the last minute to book her and she was very accommodating and so easy to work with. She even came out to meet the dogs a few days before our trip. She stayed overnight at my house with my 3 dogs--my 90 lb Spanish Mastiff (Presa), and my 2 foster dogs: a 50 lb Basset mix and a 90 lb Anatolian Shepherd. My Presa doesn't like strangers and will bark all day at them. The Basset also barks at strangers. The Anatolian likes to get up really early in the morning and plays non-stop. All 3 sleep in bed with you. These are not easy dogs to watch. Yet, Anastasia was great. She kept me updated, several times a day, on how they were doing with texts and pics. I had never used a dog sitter before and was very nervous, but she put my mind at ease. I would definitely use Anastasia again and highly recommend her!”
