About: Hello, my name is Kindra! I got my Bachelors Degree from University of Wisconsin with a major in Wildlife Education. I am on Rover on the side because I love pets. I have cared for many dogs and cats in the past, and I currently have two cats. I have had internship and volunteer positions where I performed animal husbandry to a wide variety of animals, including reptiles and amphibians. I love all sorts of animals and want to work with more in my free time because it's what I love, and most importantly to better my skills with them. Thank you for considering me. I am employed full time, and I do 4 10-hour shifts. So, my availability for pet sitting is on my days off. Feel free to message me to see if I'm available or if you have any questions about my availability. *If your location is outside of my radius, I will charge an extra $5 per day of bookings to account for gas.* I am able to do check-ins and walks to let your pets out and play with them if needed (all animals deserve at least a little play time 😉)! I helped train one of them including potty training and tricks like sit, shake, roll-over, and spin. I hope to one day foster dogs who need homes. I also have experience caring for cats and birds. About: I have always had a connection with animals. I love dogs and they love me. I have watched many dogs over the years and have ALWAYS had an amazing experience. I believe dogs love my mellow demeanor and positive attitude. Dogs know! A typical routine would consist of a morning walk/potty time (30+ minutes long), then food time (pending owner instructions), some outdoor playtime, and I could even take your dog for a run considering your dog's health and owner instruction. There will be potty breaks every 4-8 hours and two long walks outside of potty breaks (30 minutes) each day; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Of course, any dog's schedule can and will be adjusted according to owner instruction/preference. I currently Doordash. So, I have plenty of time to walk your furry friend and give them some time to potty, stretch their legs, and release some energy! I take my dogs, Sunny amd Margot, for a run or walk each day. They arevery well behaved and love to run beside me while I ride my bicycle.
