“Melissa, her family and home were amazing for our gals! Our shy and skittish gals felt VERY comfortable with the family immediately and loved the toy box. The girls were very well taken care of, had a blast, loved playing with their dogs and were tired when we got home. We got pictures and videos while we were away which we loved!!! We will definitely be booking with her again. THANK YOU!!!!!”

“Great communication! She sent us lots of great pictures! I can tell our Frenchie was very well-loved while we were away! We will definitely book with Jayne again in the future! Would highly recommend!”

“Krysten took great care of my dog. She sent text updates and pictures which are always appreciated. This is the second Rover family we have used and prefer it over using boarding kennels. I trust her enough to watch my dog again. Thank you!”

“Great with my two little dogs! I could vacation without having to worry about them for once. Will definitely use her again! My dogs got along great with her dogs as well.”

“We are very thankful for Angi. She took great care of our dog Ruby. She sent us daily updates and pictures. She has a wonderful place where Ruby could play outside. We will take our dog to Angi again for sure. Thank you!!”

“This was my first time using Rover and/or boarding our cat. Maria was so kind and thoughtful with answering all my questions and giving updates! Every picture she sent really showed how comfortable my cat was getting and that she was making sure to give him love and attention. We would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

“Our girls were so happy staying with Josie! I loved getting daily updates and seeing how much they got to play outside and see their big smiles playing with Josie’s dog. Josie was very understanding and had great communication when we had to make some last minute changes to the beginning of their stay. We are so thankful for Josie!”

“Anna was great. Provided updates that kept our minds at ease while we were on vacation. Fable must've loved staying there because when we came to pick her up she tried to go back inside with Anna 😅”

“Melissa‘s kindness, sincerity, and genuine warmth shine through from the moment you meet her. Her home has that same welcoming energy –comfortable safe and full of thoughtful touches. The meat-and-greet Melissa offered before the stay was generous and reassuring, and Copper, her pup, was the perfect host - basically the mayor of hospitality town! He welcomed Peanut like an old friend and immediately showed her around. Melissa was flexible, thoughtful, and attentive, and she sent photos and videos throughout Peanut’s stay that absolutely made my day. Peanut came home ready for a nap, content, and clearly well-cared for - the Holy Trinity of a perfect pup vacation! Copper even taught Peanut how to go down the stairs, which definitely deserves its own merit badge. I am grateful for people like Melissa who create a safe, honest, and welcoming space for visiting pups. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely caring home for their dog. You almost want to ask if she offers human boarding too. Melissa is agem – five stars, many tail wags, and a standing ovation from Peanut.”

“Thank you so much for letting Lillie hang out with you while we were in town! Paige is great at communicating and so sweet, she took great care of our senior dog while we were visiting from out of state! We got pictures and updates throughout the day which was so appreciated.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! She was so friendly and communicative about when she would check in, and she sent photos to update us. She gave our fur babies lots of attention and love. We will absolutely ask her to cat-sit again if we need to! Thanks again, Lizzie!”

“Shayla is very responsive and great to work with. She treats your dog like one of her own. She has an awesome large fenced in back yard with so much space to play. I loved all the pictures and updates she sends. Will definitely be back for more stays!”

“We are so happy we had Larysa watch our dog Millie while we were out of town! She treated our pup like one of her own and sent us lots of updates so we felt at ease that she was in great hands. We will definitely use Larysa again and Millie will be so excited to go back!”

About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well

I am also a runner, and would love to take any dogs with me who love to run. We have a fenced in yard, and a dog room in our basement for naps. We also have a couch in the main living area that's just for dogs, but they are also welcome to sit on our couch or in our recliner chair. I also have a dog-safe car for trips to Spencer or Family Dog Park or special trips to The Splash Bark.
About: Hi! I’m Chelsey — an interior designer by day with a lifelong soft spot for animals. If I hadn’t found my calling in design, I truly believe I would have pursued veterinary medicine. Animals have always been part of my world. I grew up around both cats and dogs and have over 15 years of experience pet-sitting for friends, family, and clients. My home is a very calm, grounded space, so I’m best suited for low to moderate-energy pets who enjoy a slower pace, gentle walks, and lots of presence. My puppy Nova plays well with other dogs and I'd love to have friends over for her during the day as I work from home with a close eye! Spending time with animals feels genuinely nourishing to me, and caring for yours would be something I do with a lot of intention and love. Because my home has carpet and an Airbnb guest suite above me, I’m best matched with pets who are past the puppy stage to teach mine good manners lol, are house-trained, and not prone to frequent barking — especially in response to normal household sounds like people walking. Creating a peaceful environment is important to me and helps pets feel relaxed and secure while they’re here. I enjoy walking in all seasons, maintaining consistent routines, and creating a space where animals feel safe, calm, and cared for. While you’re away, you can rest easy knowing your pet will be treated as if they’re my own. Caring for your animal would truly be my pleasure 🤍 — Chelsey Aside from Mondays being 9-hour days at work, I am home the majority of the week which is perfect for walks, attentiveness and allowing potty breaks in my fenced backyard. For boarding and daycare, I provide a calm, consistent routine so pets feel safe and settled. I follow your pet’s normal feeding schedule while offering plenty of companionship, gentle movement, and rest. My home is best suited for low to moderate-energy pets, and I adjust activities based on their needs to keep them comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. :)
About: I work remotely so I’m home most of the day☺️ This allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day! My husband and I are both dog lovers and have a dog of our own, Carter, a 9 y.o. black lab/blue heeler mix. She’s very friendly, easygoing, and gets along great with other dogs🐶 We don’t have kids, so our home is calm and quiet, and the dogs get lots of attention🥰 They’re welcome on the furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home, and we have a large fenced yard where they can safely run and play. We also live in a safe, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for regular walks! I’ll treat your pup like part of the family and do my BEST to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here🥰 Feel free to reach out with any questions about availability or how boarding/daycare works, I’m always happy to help!☺️ Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and able to give dogs lots of attention🥰 Walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine I only take up to 2 dogs per day to keep things calm, comfortable, and low-stress for everyone. I treat every dog like family and work from home, so they get plenty of attention and supervision! My home is clean, pet-friendly, with a large fenced yard for safe playtime, and I always follow each dog’s routine to help them feel at ease🙂
About: I love animals, being around them playing with them and making them feel as if they were at there own home, and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I’m a stay at home mom, I bring my daughter on walks and sometimes go to the park, we like to stay home sometimes and just chill out on colder days. I like to play with dogs and my baby loves the company of dogs, I can crate them when needed if that’s how you do things, I’d keep them on there schedule that they would normally have at home.
About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.

“Madison was so great! She got back to me promptly and stopped over for a meet and greet before starting service to get to know everyone. My dogs seemed to be very comfortable and happy with her! I enjoyed all the photo updates and I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands feeling safe and loved and getting the exercise they needed!”

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.
About: Have been around dogs my whole life. Have taken care of my parent’s dog for 5 years. I have experience administering medications as well as assisting dogs with limited mobility. I currently work part time, but my schedule is flexible for both weekdays and weekends. I can walk your dogs, do drop in visits, or overnight stays. I can watch your dogs at your home where they can be comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I will give them plenty of love and attention.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)
“Olivia had great communication and offered to help with short notice. It was so nice knowing we could leave for a long period of time and Baxter was taken care of! She took him for a walk and made sure he had fresh water after. Love all the pictures! I will definitely reach out to her again!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and currently have one of my own, along with experience caring for guinea pigs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a gentler pace. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach that dogs naturally gravitate toward. I have experience administering medication, handling reactive dogs, and providing long, engaging walks tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m highly detail-oriented and committed to following your pet’s routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I also prioritize quick, clear communication, so you’ll always feel informed and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time from home in Sioux Falls, which allows me to provide a calm, consistent environment and give pets attention throughout the day. While I’m typically working until 6 PM Monday through Friday, I’m able to incorporate check-ins into my day as my work schedule is flexible. Before and after work, I dedicate time to walks, play, feeding, and any specific care your pet needs. My evenings are relaxed and centered around making sure pets feel comfortable, exercised, and settled. On weekends, I have more flexibility for longer walks, extra playtime, and maintaining your pet’s routine. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure in their familiar environment. I’m experienced with administering medication, handling reactive dogs, and adjusting care for puppies or senior pets as needed.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
About: Hi I’m Josie! :) Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes my heart happy. I’m home full-time so I have a flexible schedule & can provide a safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or prefers a slower pace, I’ll tailor their care to their individual needs and routine. My goal is to provide a high-quality, hands-on, personalized experience where your pup is loved, engaged, and treated like family- not just watched while you’re away. Whether we’re playing in the yard, going for a walk, or just relaxing together, I strive to make every visit meaningful! Because I’m home full time, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Pups in my care get plenty of supervision, attention, outdoor time, affection, play, and enrichment. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring, relaxing in the sun, sniffing around, or just staying close by, I adjust their day to what makes them happiest, and I make sure to send updates while doing so! :) I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, sunbathe, and play while being closely supervised. Dogs in my care are provided with toys, puzzles/sniffing games, outdoor time, water play, walks, and one-on-one interaction. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and sometimes your home—is a big deal. You can expect reliability, clear communication, love for your pet, and respect for your space while you’re away. If I host multiple dogs, it’s only when all owners are comfortable with it and the dogs are a good fit. Otherwise, your pups will receive my full attention and care. Whether you’re heading out of town, have a busy work schedule, need care during the day, or simply want peace of mind while you’re away, I’m here to care for your dog as if they were my own. Your pup’s safety and wellbeing are my #1 priority! Please feel free to message me if you’d like to set up a meet and greet, book a service, or if you have any questions about my care. 🐾

I'm in between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I'm free most days and am usual active in the afternoon. I will treat your pet and your home with utmost respect. I'm used to coming in and feeding, as well as walks or cleaning up litter boxes. I'll give your pets all the attention they need, but will respect their space if they don't seem willing.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and love them to death! I enjoy caring for animals or even just keeping them entertained while their humans are away! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work in healthcare, so I value responsibility, reliability, and keeping a consistent schedule. On my days off and outside of work hours, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks.I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or just some extra company, I make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I always make sure to follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any special needs they may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed when needed, and make sure doors and gates are always properly closed. I also believe communication is very important, so I am happy to send updates and photos to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind while they are away.
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who's been around big dogs my entire life, so I'm comfortable with pups of all sizes and personalities. I genuinely love spending time with dogs—whether that means long walks, playtime, or giving lots of belly rubs and attention. As a nurse, I'm dependable, attentive, and always put safety first. I'll care for your pup like they're my own and make sure they have a fun, happy, and stress free experience! 🐾🤍 I’m a full time nurse but am free 4/7 days of the week! Love taking care of all dogs !! Used to random hours (early or late) so whenever needed! For everyone's safety and comfort, I provide care in your home and neighborhood rather than my own. I'm happy to come to your home for walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of playtime, so your pup can stay comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving the attention and care they deserve. :)

Your dogs will have free reign in or out of the house while on the premises. Milk Bones, Ice Water and squirrels to chase. I am Retired, make my own schedule and can accommodate very early morning or weekend drop offs. Your dogs are allowed on the bed, couch or wherever they want. About: I can’t get any more dogs right now, but I absolutely love animals. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always been surrounded by them, and I really miss having that in my life. I currently have two small dogs who are very friendly and love playing with other dogs, and I have a big backyard for them to run around in. I just miss the companionship and joy that comes with being around animals every day. I work full-time, so my schedule is fairly consistent. I leave for work at 6:00 a.m., have a one-hour lunch break at noon, and I’m usually home by 4:00 p.m. Outside of work, I spend my time with my two small dogs, who are very friendly and love being around other dogs. I also have a large backyard where they can run and play. Even with my work schedule, I have plenty of time in the evenings and on weekends to care for and enjoy being around animals. I’d be happy to walk your dog if they enjoy going on walks, take them to the dog park for some exercise and socialization, play with them indoors or outside, and, of course, give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for, even when they’re missing their owner(s).
