About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. I live in a house with a large fully fenced backyard and have a doggy door which allows the dogs to move freely in and out of the house as they desire.

About: Always home and available to take care of pets with ample designated space inside and outside. Made for any kind of heat or rain. Always happy to drive pets to dog park. I am a full time online student and enjoy being home. Love pets so much and will have an eye of pets at all times. More than enough toys and zero chewing hazards at reach. There is an open space inside and a covered shaded open area with small patch of grass connected to the home. I am home 24/7 and will watch pets constantly. Any errands that need to be run the pets will be watched constantly.

About: I have loved and had dogs (and cats) all my life. They are my passion! If you are looking for a very loving home environment for your baby, look no further. Someone once told me “ when I die I want to come back as your dog” 😂 I am a retired BOSSIER PARISH SCHOOL BOARD employee. My days are completely free now. Your pups would not be crated! They would have free roam of the house and outside with my supervision. They are allowed on furniture and need to be non-food aggressive. We do have a fenced in yard. It’s a large yard. It is a cattle fence not chain-link fence. Pets must not be ones that jump, fences and non-food aggressive.

About: I’m an experienced Kennel and Vet Assistant. I have the experience to take the extra care that a flat faced dog needs and how to bathe them with care. I also have the experience with senior dogs and take gentle care of their brittle bones. I have experience with taking care of dogs that are big and know that they are gentle giants. No need to worry if your dog has medication I also have experience in giving your babies their meds when needed and how to give it as prescribed. I am currently not working so I have all the time to take care of your beautiful babies when you’re hard at work. I’m available during your work hours and during the weekend if needed. In my home I can take your dog out for a walk and potty breaks. My apartment complex is animal friendly with a lot of space to play. You can be sure to know that your animal is safe with me if they need to have medication given to them. In your home you can rest assured that your dog will have the same routine and never be bored. I’ll make sure to give them ample play time and potty breaks.

About: It can be really hard with work or other responsibilities to spoil your pet like you want too. Let me help! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Currently, I have a miniature schnauzer mix. His name is Teddy! He’s super sweet and he’s spoiled rotten! He’s pretty small but I’ve kept dogs of all sizes. Big or small, I got you. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. His name is a Teddy, he’s a miniature schnauzer and he loves to play! My daughter also loves all the animals that comes to visit, so expect your pet to be a little spoiled to her when you return! I finally finished my nursing program! YAY! Nurse Beth has a nice ring to it! Thank all of y’all for all the wonderful support. However, that means I won’t have as much time to take care of all your sweet doggies. I am more than happy to keep your pet but please understand I will no longer be home all day. I have some help at home so I’ll still be overseeing the care of my regulars when I am able too. I have a fenced in back yard and a sunroom that’s heated and cooled! They are also allowed in my home and on furniture unless otherwise notified!

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. About: Related experience: Former Vet Tech major Kennel Assistant at a Veterinary Hospital Doggy Daycare Attendant Pet Rescue Foster Non-profit Volunteer Pet Sitter Pet Owner of 2 sweet Cocker Spaniels Doggy Daycare is available on weekdays only, unless you are boarding. Boarding can be provided seven days a week pending availability. Full time care provided. If roundtrip transportation is provided, your pup will be picked up at the agreed time and a safety belt clip will be used to safely transport him or her. Dogs will have opportunities to play inside and outside and length of time outside will depend on temperature and weather conditions. Outside playtime may include time to splash in the splash pool, dig in the doggy sandbox for surprises, pop bubbles, and time to run and play in a really large doggy themed fenced play yard in a country setting. Indoor playtime includes access to a large dog themed room with doggy shows on their own TV while lounging on their pet size furniture or playing with toys. There will be much needed nap time whenever a nap is needed. Meals (provided by owner) will be scheduled at times agreed upon and dogs will be fed separately. After a fun-filled day, transportation home will be provided at the pre-arranged time (if applicable). Every night is Movie Night while boarding. Now playing: Secret Life of Pets, Super Buddies, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Space Buddies or send your pups favorite dvd! I have a large fenced in yard and plenty activities such as a splash pool, sandbox digs, bubbles, paw print paintings, a ball pit and more! Inside I have a full size luxury pet bedroom with a TV and pet sized furniture.
