“Amanda was absolutely phenomenal! I was so worried about leaving my babies at home for a last-minute trip, as some of them are a little skittish, but within the first day or so, they all warmed up to her and were waiting for her cuddles and attention. I can’t recommend her enough — she went above and beyond, and comes with plenty of experience with both cats and dogs with varying temperaments. 🐶🐈⬛🐕🐾 (She also sent lots of great photos!)”

“Aulelei was such a blessing in a stressful time. I had to travel out of town last minute and Aulelei was very quick to respond that she was available to help. After getting to the house, she was so sweet to my 2 dogs that are very fearful of new people. Aulelei was very easy to communicate with and followed instructions well. She made them feel loved and safe and I was able to tend to my out of town emergency with a peace of mind that is priceless.”

“Rebecca is the best! She has been able to accommodate me at the very last second multiple times! She frequently comes to let out my three babies when I work long hours. They LOVE her and she loves them! So lucky to have found her!”

“Jo did a great job taking care of a Zoo (house lol) all of our fur and feather babies were well taken care of and were happy to have someone like Jo to check in on them! Thanks so much Jojo!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since i was 9 years old. I’ve grown up around them since I was a baby. However i got my first very own dog & started caring for her when i was 9. My friends and family consider me a trustworthy person when it comes to their fur babies. I am a Registered Nurse. I only work 3 days a week. But when I am off work, i am available at any times to check on your fur babies. For doggy daycare, I have a fenced in backyard and 2 other playful doggos of my own. Lots of toys, treats, and love! For in clients home, I have a reliable vehicle that can come to you!
“Michelle’s communication was excellent. She was friendly and quick to respond to my questions. She always updated me with photos/videos/information at each drop in visit. She additionally brought in some packages that had been delivered and let me know about it. I’m confident that my pup got the attention she needed while I was gone, and I will definitely book with Michelle again!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for a wide variety of animals, giving me hands on experience from an early age. I also spent nearly six years managing the animal care department for a national pet retailer, where I cared for cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals while ensuring they received excellent daily care. As a lifelong pet owner, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, and other pets with different personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs playtime, medication, feeding, or simply companionship, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but I’m available before work, during my lunch break (depending on location), after work, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter box cleaning, and any special routines. With a lifelong background caring for animals and nearly six years of professional animal care management experience, I’m comfortable recognizing signs that a pet isn’t feeling well and responding appropriately. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

“We used Tristin for the second time and had as equally good experience as the first. We have a senior kitty and we worry about her but felt confident she would be well cared for while we were away. It’s so nice to not have to worry. Tristin is responsible and trustworthy, seems to love animals.”
“Courtney was an absolute doll! I was so nervous leaving my pets for 10 days while we were on a cruise but Courtney was in constant contact with me 3 times a day, sending pictures and updates. She even went overboard to make friends with my skittish cat, who she won over after a few days! I highly recommend her. She was kind, gentle and patient with my pets and we will definitely be using her services again for our next vacation. Thank you Courtney for loving on Diesel and Danté. ❤️”

About: My attention to detail and helping ensure pet parents have a relaxing time on vacay by proving top-tier care sets me apart from other sitters. I like to send pictures I’ve taken throughout the day to pet parents and let them know what we did for the day. My 3+ years of experience working at a doggy daycare has helped me understand our furry friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages - puppies to seniors, given meds, and took care of a dog with paralyzed back legs. Love providing care for our furry friends! I’m currently working part time in the evenings typically on the weekends. Other than that, I’m free during the day/night. I typically work 4/5 hours in the evening. I’m off by 9 pm at the latest. For previous client care, I’ve either stayed overnight at their house or made several trips during the day and evening. If I stay overnight, I wake up let them outside to go potty and then feed breakfast (if they get it). Let them out again after breakfast. If I didn’t stay over night, then I would arrive in the morning and do the same process as if I stayed overnight. I will hang out with them and let them go outside to potty several times throughout the day. I will also try and play fetch if they like that. For dinner, it’s the same process as breakfast. I’ve also taken some dogs on walks to get their exercise in. Anything to keep our furry friends needs met!
“Tara is awesome with our dog! Very easy to work with and made our vacation a lot better by taking care and sending pictures of our dog! We will be using her as long as she is available!”

Samantha did such a great job with my two cats while we were on vacation! I came home to clean cat boxes, full water and food bowls, and happy cats. I’m so happy she came over to take care of them and attend to their needs. It definitely makes the stress of leaving animals at home while on vacation so much easier. She did an amazing job and we will definitely book her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Benton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
