About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. Trust and care are my number one goals when it comes to animal sitting. Not just with the four legged babies, but with the parents as well. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your care provider, and what a treat it is to know that you can trust someone with the care of your loved ones. Also, aren't dogs just perfect? I work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and am currently on telework, so my weekly availability is early morning, and late afternoon. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.

On this visit, Peyton was taking care of four cats and one very rambunctious dog. She handled it like a champ and my dog and my cats still look for her after her visit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a few years. Dog sat my coworkers dogs varying in size whenever they would go on vacation! I have my own dog who is a husky so i treat every dog under my care just like they were my Bane (his name). I have been teaching him some tricks as well. I work full time but available during the weekdays during the middle of my shift as I have a split work day! During the weekends I am available as needed . I have a crate for a dog at my home. No fence available but I do have an invisible fence that can be used if needed.
