About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting on the farm where I grew up with pets and livestock. About: If there were ever anybody who preferred dogs to people, it’s me. I’ve had at least one dog growing up my whole life. I just recently lost my 14 year old soul dog after a 6 month battle with lymphoma and while I’m not ready to bring another pup into my home just yet, it gives me plenty of room to love yours! I’m familiar with all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments and I’m happy to give all the snuggles and kisses required as well as any medication requirements or special dietary needs. I’m also an excellent thunder buddy for the extra anxious ones. I currently work full time Mon-Fri 8-4:30 so I am available early mornings and evenings during the week and weekends full time. I also don’t mind running by during the day on my lunch break to check in if close by. I currently live with a roommate who has 2 large dogs so due to safety, I will not be watching pets in my own home at this time. However, I’m more than happy to sit with your pet at your home and follow any guidelines you may have set out to do so.
About: I’ve had over 10 years of experience with taking care of dogs. I love to walk them, bathe them, and play with them. I have a labradoodle that is very well socialized and he loves meeting other doggos! I will take care of your fur babies like they are my own :) I will only host 2 dogs (maximum) at one time. I do this to insure safety for all the pups. I work from home as an insurance auditor. So my schedule is super flexible to allow me to help with your pet care needs :) I live in a very nice subdivision with walking paths. I also have a fenced in backyard. I can assist with crate/house training. I will follow any rules/guidelines provided by the owner.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have always had animals of all kinds- from reptiles to furry friends. I have a dog now and she is my child. I also used to work at a dog boarding facility as well. I am doing rover until I can open my own- which is my dream! I do this full time and I have a part time job but that is only a few days a week! I would take them out according to your schedule and feed them-according to their diet. I love working with animals and I assure you they will be treated as my own. I also stick to their schedule. If they eat at a certain time or have medicine at a certain time I foll ow that! I will go to the clients home for pet sitting. I love dogs especially. I have a baby girl and she’s my everything. If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
