“Jen has a home that is great for dogs. And my pet had a blast playing with the other dogs at her residence. Jen is obviously a dog person and took great care with my dog Lucy. I will not hesitate to leave her with Jen in the future.”

“Matt was amazing!! Took great care of our baby and was so flexible with us needing 2 extra days due to the hurricane that closed the airport. We highly recommend him for your next boarding experience and will definitely use him again?”

“Lunna was well taken care of and had a great time. They were always keeping us updated of Lunna’s activities with pictures and videos. Highly recommended and looking forward using their services again with our dog.”

“Kristen was most accommodating to my last minute requirement for a pup sitter. She was very communicative and sent me pics of my pup throughout her 2 day stay. I got delayed due to construction and rain so I ran late getting back. Kristen was most understanding as I kept in contact to keep her apprised of my ETA. My pup wad happy to see me and looked very well cared for while I was away. I highly recommend Kristen if you need a dog sitter as she is amazing. Thank you again, Kristen!”

“she understood our needs and loved our cat like we do while we were unable to be there, followed up daily with pictures and information very easy to deal with I would recommend her to anybody.”

“Pam was wonderful while caring for our 2 precious pups . She shared many photos and gave detailed information on how our dogs were doing the entire time that we were away. I highly recommend Pam to anyone who is looking for loving care of their dogs while they are away.”

“Alli was so great with Winston! We received updates from her multiple times a day and she made sure he was well taken care of! Winnie was very happy to play with a friend this weekend and he was wiped out when we picked him up. Would highly recommend her!”

“I will often not go on trips because I don't want to leave my dog. I've had her for 16 years and trusting someone else to care for her, keep her safe and happy, is difficult for me. She's only ever had one other caregiver outside of immediate family and that woman is still a dear friend, but she's in another geographical state. Thanks to Rover, I have now found Christina and she's the perfect solution for me and my dog. The way Christina managed every aspect of my senior dog's needs and communication with me, is a relief second to none. Thank you, Christina!”

“Not much more to say that I haven’t said before, but just to confirm, Claire is the BEST!! Our dog Birdie has such a wonderful time with her every time she stays there. And we always get LOTS of photos to show us how much fun she is having. Thanks again, Claire!”

“Amazing sitter! And in a pinch! Very accommodating and understanding of our situation. Cared for 2 Shiba Inu’s. One is a shy puppy. Sent pictures and videos every day.”

“Jennifer was great! She took very good care of Teddy and kept us up to date with how he was doing each day. She sent lots of pictures and videos. I’ll definitely leave teddy with her again.”

“Thanks for watching Zeek again. He loves you guys. He is almost as sad to leave your house as he is to leave mine. Haha. A lovely home away from home. I always love all of the photos. He also keeps staring at my coffee table like “why don’t we have a giant bean bag too, mom?! 🙂”

“Thank you, Marianne and Chris! Bear loves to come visit. And we are very appreciative that he has a fun and safe place to stay when we are away. See you next time!”

“I am so glad that I found Heather! She was so accommodating of a last minute change, so great at sending photos and communicating with me the whole stay. I got tons of photos and updated! I could tell my little guy had the best time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heather or book her again. Thank you again!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Belleair
Jennifer is awesome. I definitely recommend her services. My Manny is five months old and she took very good care of him and kept me updated through the whole process. Drop off and pick up is extremely easy. She even offers after hours. Her dogs are very well behaved and socialized.

Kennedi took great care of my Teacup Yorki with at least two walks a day and she even gave him a bath. He was very comfortable with her and had no problems, and she sent me photos and/or a video every day. There was no problem communicating with her and she responded quickly to my texts. I'd be happy to recommend her to anyone, especially to those with small or midsized dogs.

Nancy was amazing with my nervous rescue fur baby. She helped her feel comfortable and really well cared for, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She sent photos and stayed in touch, so I always felt confident my dog was in great hands. I’d definitely have Nancy watch her again—highly recommend!

Christina is the best. There’s no one else I trust my dogs with. They always come back happy and I can leave them with her and never have to worry about them being ok or safe. She’s a wonderful person and we appreciate the care and loves she gives to our dogs while we’re away.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
