About: I’m not just a pet sitter—I’m a shelter manager with hands-on rescue experience, specializing in anxious, reactive, and misunderstood dogs, providing compassionate, knowledgeable care, and medical care. I am a manager at an animal rescue so I usually work 7:45-3:45 Monday-Friday but have a break around 12-1:30 and can do a drop in! I do have to take care of my own animals around 6 because my cat medication. I know how to handle dogs who are gaurdy of things in their home and know how to easily de-escalate a situation. Carefully follow your rules and make sure you come home to healthy and happy animals and a nice picked up house !

About: I grew up on a farm in Kansas, have a degree in Biology and have been around animals my entire life. Anyone who knows me, will attest that I pay lots of attention to their pets. I have been asked to watch houses and pets for years by family and friends who don't trust anyone else. I have kept dogs, cats, sheep, cows, ducks, fish, reptiles, spiders, insects, birds and lizards as pets. I normally work a 9-5 schedule Monday through Friday and live alone in Rose Hill, KS. Most evenings I go for a walk when it cools down because I love being outdoors. On my walks, I usually end up petting several neighborhood dogs and cats that eagerly await my attention. In general, I try to observe and match the energy level and interests of a particular pet. My day job involves going into lots of homes with pets. I get plenty of practice meeting new pets and needing to win them over fast.

About: Hi! I have taken care of animals since I was a young child. I grew up taking care of a German Shepard and two cats. When I was a teenager I was the primary caretaker for my cat. From age 16-20 I volunteered at two animal shelters working with horses, farm animals, dogs and cats. I currently have an older dog, who I adopted over four years ago when I lived in Florida. I am passionate about providing people's pets with quality walks and care. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone to take good care of your pet, but I work hard to ensure the pets are well cared for while you are away. I am a nursing student and will be working at my job part time to accommodate my class schedule. When I am not in classes or at work, my availability is very open. My schedule does vary as nursing school schedules vary but I am very communicative regarding scheduling and availability. I care deeply about pet care and ensuring pets are treated with love and kindness. I saw first hand how hard it can be to trust someone to take of your pets while you are away. It is my mission to ensure that each animal in my care is treated with love, kindness and with the utmost care. About: I've been an animal lover since I was four when my first dog came into my life :) I started pet sitting for family and friends when I was around ten, and it's been something I've loved doing ever since. I've cared for all types of pets - from puppies to senior dogs, cats of all personalities, turtles, fish, and even some farm animals! I have no problem giving medications - I've given insulin injections to diabetic dogs many times and understand how important it is to stick to medication schedules. I understand how pets thrive on their familiar routines and environment. I'll make sure to maintain their schedule and send you updates with plenty of photos while you're away :) I know firsthand that there’s nothing better than seeing your pets happy and relaxed when you can't be with them! I work remotely and choose my own hours, so my schedule is quite flexible! I’m a bit of a night owl naturally, so I especially love taking fur babies for evening walks, but any time I get to care for an animal is a great time :) I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, and everything in between for over ten years now, so I have experience handling almost every situation that could come about :) I’ve administered insulin via injection to dogs, fed both cats and dogs pills, cleaned up after them if there are any accidents, placed them in (and taken them out of) crates gently and calmly, and generally whatever was necessary to ensure that every pet in my care is happy and well taken care of.
