About: I am an Artist who works from home a lot and would love some extra furry companionship :) I understand that being in a new place with new people can feel stressful for the first time. We can go on long walks together at least twice a day and then they can sleep where ever they are most comfortable. I have a flexible schedule most days, so I can work around any animal care that may be needed. I love having furry companions around. We will play fetch, drink lots of water, go for walks and probably just hangout and read together. Right now I am working freelance so I can arrange my schedule as needed to make animal accomodations. I love to start my day with animal smiles. First I like to survey the areas of the home to make sure there isn't anything dangerous that has been mistakenly left out that might cause harm. And then we can establish a place for the pet items so they can start to feel more comfortable in a new environment. I also make sure the water bowl is always filled.

I also make sure he has a yard break every 2-3 hours, along with two medium to long walks daily to keep him active and engaged. My routine is built around making sure my dog’s needs are met consistently, and I approach all my pet care with the same level of attention and dedication. Whether it's a regular walk, a healthy meal, or a quick yard break, I ensure that my pets are always well taken care of, just like I would treat your own furry friend! About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both! I am currently between full-time jobs but keeping my calendar updated very frequently with my summer availability as I am hoping to pick up work either ongoing or on a one-time basis! Depending on the comfort of each pet, I always spend some time introducing myself and getting to know them at first. Spend some time petting them and getting them comfortable with my presence in their space, and next playing with them if they’re up for it. Once they know they can trust me, we’ll take the day ahead together and they’ll alternate resting, playing with toys, and walking outside. About: I've had dogs all my life and wouldn't have it any other way. My dogs and I are always outside hiking, swimming, or playing in the yard.
