About: I have taken care of animals in many forms for over 20 years. I have an acre of fenced-in yard with two dogs that are dog friendly, up to date on shots, and either spayed or neutered. ~ Your fur baby will enjoy their time playing with my dogs, or with me staying at your home and treating your home and your fur baby as one of my own. ~PSI Member and working on basic First Aid and Emergency Care for Animals. ~Willing to provide medications and injections to those babies in need. I work from home so your pet will get any amount of attention it needs. My husband is also a Rover approved sitter, so your fur baby will have someone with them at all times, for those rare times I need to run an errand. If I come to your home your pet will receive the same care and respect as work allows for flexibility to be there with them, giving them full attention. I have an acre fenced yard with outside toys as well as a drinking fountain and plenty of room inside for them to take naps and stay cool and dry on rainy days. We usually go out every 2-4 hours for potty breaks and play time.

About: Your favorite animal lover here! I have 9 years of experience at a boarding facility taking care of pups and making sure there needs are met. My favorites are the older, special needs babies because I am a very patient person and I love to give extra care. When spending time with your pet I will be dedicating my time to them and loving them as I would my own. I have a very friendly and playful chiweenie myself! I do work mornings at my job but would love to spend my nights and off days walking, loving on, and playing with all your adorable dogs! I will gladly send you a ton of pictures and will give your babies all the love and cuddles. Being able to make your pup feel like there at home even though there home (you) is away.
About: Hi, I’m Sarah, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats! Growing up surrounded by pets, I learned early on how to provide the best care, love, and attention to furry family members. I’m the proud dog mom of two incredible pups: Stella, my energetic Labrador, and Hank, my playful Corgi. Raising them has given me firsthand experience managing high energy, playfulness, and ensuring their health and happiness. Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also cared for my father- and mother-in-law’s cat and my sister’s cats while she’s been away. These experiences taught me how to meet the unique needs of cats, from feeding schedules and grooming to providing a safe and comforting environment. In addition to my passion for animals, I have knowledge of basic medical care, including recognizing signs of illness, administering medication, and supporting overall health for both cats and dogs. Whether it’s playtime with pups, snuggling with cats, or maintaining routines to keep tails wagging and whiskers purring, I treat every animal as if they were my own. Let me help care for your beloved pets—they deserve nothing but the best! 🐾 Hey neighbors! As a full-time pet caregiver, I absolutely love what I do! I do have a wonderful pack of my own dogs to care for at home, which is why I truly appreciate advance notice for new bookings so I can coordinate everyone's schedules perfectly. 📅I am always happy to help out with morning, midday, or evening visits whenever things align! You can count on me to bring lots of positive energy and ensure your furry family members get all the love, undivided attention, and top-notch care they deserve! Can't wait to meet your pups! ❤️ Caring for my own pups, Stella and Hank, has taught me the importance of maintaining a consistent routine to keep them happy and healthy. They thrive on their set schedule, which includes two daily walks, either on my street or at the walking track near my home.We also spend quality time playing in the yard. My dogs love meeting and interacting with other animals, and I always ensure their time is filled with exercise, play, and lots of love.

About: My family has raised dachshund puppies my entire life. Our current babies are 12 and 5 yrs old. Dachshunds are known as a challenging breed but ours have always been angels. I have a schedule that is mostly open during the afternoons everyday. Wednesdays and Thursdays, I have fullday and nighttime availability. My schedule is flexible if necessary. We have a fenced in yard and decking that our pets prefer but i have taken them on walks around our neighborhood for enrichment and nail trimming. Dachshunds can be anxious so they tend to prefer the comfort of our home.
About: As a Rover Dog Caregiver, I am committed to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets. With a background in veterinary technology and a passion for animals, I ensure that your furry companions receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I tailor my services to meet the unique needs of each dog, creating a safe and comfortable environment for them to thrive in. With me, you can rest assured that your dogs are in loving and capable hands. I often volunteer at dog sanctuaries with disabled and senior dogs. And I have one puppy and one adult (both female) of my very own!! I also have a female cat I adopted 5 years ago!! I’ve cared for various small animals and reptiles also. I am an upcoming freshman in a Veterinary Technology program. I’m currently working part-time and there is never “not enough time” to care for pets!! Everyday I take time out of my day from my dogs to enjoy my company. There is no excuse for neglect! Although I do not have a fenced home I have a LOT of yard space and my neighborhood is perfect for dog walks. I also live 5 minutes away from a trusted dog park. Just tell me what I can do to best care for YOUR animal since not all dogs/cats are the same.
About: What sets me apart is my mix of professional experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist since high school, giving me hands-on knowledge in caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I don’t just provide the basics — I make sure every cat or dog feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away, with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and photo updates for your peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to check in during the mornings before work, around lunchtime (12:00), and again after work (typically after 5:00). I’m dedicated to making sure pets get consistent attention, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love during those times, so they never feel alone or overlooked. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routines closely so pets feel comfortable and secure — from feeding schedules and walks to playtime and cuddles. I give lots of love and attention, keep their space tidy, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. If pets are in my home, I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of play, snuggles, and supervision, making them feel like part of the family while they’re with me.
About: As a proud dog and cat mom, I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur babies! With over 5 years of pet care experience, I’ve developed a genuine love for animals and understand that every pet has its own personality, needs, and routine. I currently have a dog named Patience and a cat named Salem, so I’m familiar with caring for pets with different personalities and needs. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, cleaning, and providing lots of love and attention, I enjoy making sure animals feel happy, safe, and comfortable. What sets me apart is my patience, attention to detail, and commitment to treating every pet like my own. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I prioritize communication, following instructions, and providing updates and pictures for peace of mind. Whether your pet loves outdoor adventures, playing with toys, or simply cuddling on the couch, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve! Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine as a dog and cat mom! I work full-time in management, which has helped me develop strong time-management and organizational skills. I enjoy spending my free time caring for animals, whether that’s going for walks, enjoying playtime, or simply providing companionship and attention. My availability varies depending on my work schedule, but I plan ahead to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I am happy to coordinate with pet parents to discuss their pets’ routines and determine the best arrangements. I understand the importance of consistency, especially when pets are away from their owners, and I always strive to make their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible! Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort will always be my top priorities! As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else’s care. I believe in creating a calm, loving, and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions when applicable, and any special requests provided by pet parents. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain cleanliness, and do my best to keep their pet’s daily routine as consistent as possible. I also believe communication is key! I’m happy to send pictures, videos, and updates throughout each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and boundaries. My goal is to provide the same level of love, patience, and attention that I would want someone to give my own pets!

“I absolutely could not have picked a better sitter! Alesha took care of my cats and my house for a week while I was out of the country. She respected my property and was extremely communicative, and really set my mind at ease. She went above and beyond what I expected in every way, did my laundry, cleaned out and organized my fridges, scrubbed out my filthy kitchen sink so it shines! My cats were sick when she came and one of them had lost weight. I came back to healthy cats and that one has obviously gained weight. My cats loved her judging from the pics she sent me. If you want the best, hire Alesha!”

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
