About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I understand that pets are apart of the family and how difficult it is to leave them behind when on vacations. That’s why it’s so important to me to make sure there is someone who treats my animals the same way! Alex (my significant other) and I would love nothing more than making sure your furry friend remains comfortable and safe while you are away. Alex and I both work through the day but live very local (5 minutes from our home) so we can check on them throughout the day if needed. We are also very active so pets that need extra walking or a hike is not a big issue for us in the least! I work full time and so does my partner Alex, however we both get an hour lunch and are willing to both work around schedules to fit where needed! Both of us do live very close to home so if needed we can always stop by the house and check in. My pets are my family so yours would become my family as well! Both cats and dogs need someone that is going to be willing to play with them daily! I have multiple kennels of different sizes if a pet needs one/is comfortable with one. If not I also have a room dedicated to keeping pets comfy while I am gone during the day. It’s always helpful to have a space where pets can decompress when they are in an unknown location.

The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10, and cats a little less, whether that be walking, pet sitting, or just overall care. They really are a mans best friend! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
