About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I understand that pets are apart of the family and how difficult it is to leave them behind when on vacations. That’s why it’s so important to me to make sure there is someone who treats my animals the same way! Alex (my significant other) and I would love nothing more than making sure your furry friend remains comfortable and safe while you are away. Alex and I both work through the day but live very local (5 minutes from our home) so we can check on them throughout the day if needed. We are also very active so pets that need extra walking or a hike is not a big issue for us in the least! I work full time and so does my partner Alex, however we both get an hour lunch and are willing to both work around schedules to fit where needed! Both of us do live very close to home so if needed we can always stop by the house and check in. My pets are my family so yours would become my family as well! Both cats and dogs need someone that is going to be willing to play with them daily! I have multiple kennels of different sizes if a pet needs one/is comfortable with one. If not I also have a room dedicated to keeping pets comfy while I am gone during the day. It’s always helpful to have a space where pets can decompress when they are in an unknown location.

The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. She sent us daily texts and pics, which was a relief. The dogs clearly loved her, and by the time we picked them up, they were chill, happy, and obviously well-fed and exercised. I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. I have two adult dogs in the home that can be introduced or remain separate if needed. I also have a 6yr old in the home that loves and is respectful of all animals.

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently working full-time but would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I currently work full-time as a front desk agent at an hotel and do my best to update my availability as the schedule comes out. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.
