About: I have had cats and dogs almost all my life. There were 4 or 5 years where I did not have a pet and I missed it. I now have 4 cats who are all rescues. All under the age of 3.5 yrs old. I have often been asked by friends and family to watch their pets while they were away. I also spent a year at a dog boarding facility. My duties included the basics like feeding and walking dogs and even some light grooming, and there were even some overnight stays. There were times there might be 40 dogs to help care for. All sizes, breeds and ages. I work full time Monday to Friday so I will mostly be available on weekends. I could fit in Friday evenings as well. At least for now. I may add to that later on. For my cats, they are strictly indoor. When my son visits, I have a fenced in yard for his dog to run freely in. Our cats have their own water fountain and a dry food dispenser. They get wet food twice a day. They visit the vet as needed. Otherwise we just try to make sure they have a safe environment to thrive in. As for a client's pet, I will follow all instructions per the pet owner. Let me know if there are things I should be aware of while I care for your pet.

About: I've loved animals my whole life. When I was 15 I finally got my own dog, Piper (an 8wk old Catahoula mix). That following Summer I began to care for three other dogs for a few days a week at their home, letting them out and playing with them. Likewise, the summer before college I worked at a boarding kennel/day care. I enjoyed playing with and caring for nearly 20 different dogs every day! In August of last year, my husband and I got our very own dog! Her name is Fern, and she is another Catahoula! *NOTE* I work 7-6 M-F Charlotte at a doctor’s office. Thus, I am unfortunately unable for drop-in services during the day. If your dog requires round the clock care, I unfortunately cannot be your person. I am willing to negotiate rates if you need to hire a midday dog-walker while I take care of nights. I believe in complete transparency and wouldn’t want to promise something I couldn’t do. My husband helps me out from time to time during the day on the weekends if I get stuck in clinic! He will sometimes stay in my place, and always comes to the first meet and greet. He’s also a verified animal lover (and the one in all the pics!) At my apartment complex, we have a fenced in dog park that I can allow our dogs to play in. Likewise, I have the space to crate your dog if needed. I believe in positive reinforcement training, and will be sure to give your pet lots of (approved) treats and love.

About: I've taken care of and owned a few dogs and cats of all different breeds from pit bulls to Siamese cats. I've also had multiple reptiles over the years as well as small animals such as rats, hamsters and Guinea pigs so I'm ok with all sorts of animals! I currently am free full time to care for your fur babies, day or night, I'll be there! All my work is from work or me going where I got to go. I clean out the necessary litter boxes, food and water bowls and refill everything up. I clean the areas where all of that is that and then i play with the babies for the remaining time.

About: I have owned/cared for cats for as long as I can remember. I am currently an owner of 3 cats and 1 dog and have tons of experience caring for cats/dogs of family and friends. I genuinely love spending time with animals and giving them the attention/affection they need. I have experience with exercising, feeding, giving medication, and administering first aid to pets. I am a stay-at-home husband (and soon to be father) so my schedule is extremely flexible and I have reliable transportation. I’m available weekends and weekdays including evenings. My own pup is high energy/high anxiety (but he absolutely loves other dogs!) so I can understand that every pet has individualized needs. I am happy to work with any owner on a case by case basis to determine what works best for their pet. I can do home visits or could potentially house pets at my residence. In the past, I have kept other pets separate from my guinea pig- as not all pets get along & to maintain personal space for both animals. As a pet parent myself, I would want my animal being cared for to my preferences & want to make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away. I do have a guinea pig! Rover does not have a section to add in My Pets section (Dogs & Cats were the only choices). But he will be kept separately!

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 3yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. About: Since age 4 I've had an animal in my home. I've brought home so many of our family pets over the years basically off of the streets. I cared for them faithfully and lovingly until they crossed that rainbow bridge. Animals are naturally drawn to me and I have several tips and tricks to get your fur baby comfortable and content by the end of our visit. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. Every morning I wake up between 5 and 6 every day and begin feeding and caring for my pets at home. I feed and water 2-3 times daily. I do walks and play time and of course cuddles and pets. I will treat them as if they were my own fur babies, with love and compassion.

About: Starting off with fostering animals when I was 18, I have helped care for all types of pets, of all ages and all needs. My first pet based job was at a Banfield Pet Hospital, which I worked at for 8 years before transferring to a VCA closer to my home. I was in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program and was the Lead Surgical Assistant at VCA, with additional tasks such as training new hires, injections, suture removal, medicated baths, etc. I started my own business called Snoot Boop Pet Care LLC in August 2024. From snakes and tarantulas, to rabbits and birds, I care for them all! At the moment I am a stay at home mom of one beautiful toddler girl. My husband is also work-from-home, which is what allows me to take on jobs like these! Due to the amount of fur-babies I have, I do not board at my home. I can do drop in visits of up to 1 hour at a time, walks, litter/diaper changes, medication administration, check the mail, and even water your plants. For day care, I would need to be at your home so your pet is as comfortable as possible. We would play, have plenty of potty breaks (dogs) feed and/or medicate as required. If the pet requires medicated baths, that is also something I can do for you.

About: I have worked at various doggy daycares over the past 5 years, where I monitored and handled up to 150 dogs at once. I bathed dogs, trimmed their nails, fed them, cared for injuries and sicknesses, walked them, played with them, trained them, and medicated them every day, and have firsthand experience breaking up fights. I have over a year’s worth of management experience, which meant making decisions catered to each dogs’ needs everyday. I have a wide range of knowledge on dogs and dog breeds. I have pet sitting experience, which includes cats, and I have also worked at an aquarium and with non releasable birds of prey. I have a wide range of experience, from exotics, birds, reptiles, rodents, and even to marsupials. I spent 4 years studying ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado Boulder, so I have a general biology background as well. I am doing school online, so I have plenty of time to fill with furry, scaly, and feathery friends! I am used to early mornings and the time that goes into animal care. I have a fenced yard at home for my two dogs to run around and play in. I love enrichment, training, cuddling, foraging tasks, smelling games, fetch, etc. for all dogs and animals. All animals deserve an enriching environment full of a lot of variety, play, and healthy challenges. They deserve adventures, love, and genuine, heartfelt connection and care with other animals and with their humans. I will let those principles reflect in my work for your furry friend!

About: I have two pets of my own, one is 10 years old the other is 6. I have been responsible for their daily care and can help train them do basic tricks like sit or shake.I am so excited to meet your pets and help you with their care. I am a nursing student at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. I am off for the summer, so I have open availability to care for your pets ! My dogs are a major part of my family. I treat them like kids… These pets are welcome to share the bed with me. I also give them baths regularly to keep everything fresh. About: I have been around dogs my entire life helping raise Black and Tans and Beagles as a child and watching my my neighbors dog when they are out of town. I currently have a 8.5 year old female Westie that gets along with everyone (dogs of all sizes and people). We enjoy visiting the local parks and the Riverwalk during the day. I can take out for frequent walks and multiple bathroom breaks. I can also feed multiple times a days. I am available during the week or the weekends or during the holidays (family is close by and will not be going out of town). About: We are a family of 4 (counting our dog Pepper). I work from home so your dog won’t be alone. I grew up always having a pet to take care of; cats, hamsters and many dogs of different breeds. We have a 14 yr old mini schnauzer that is a little sassy but always friendly with dogs, cats and humans. Dogs are part of our family, they will be allowed in couch to snuggle with us while watching tv and we’ll also spend time outside. We have a fenced yard and we live across a park, I will take your dog for a walk at least twice a day. Your dog will feel loved and safe in our home while you are gone. We go outside several times during the day. I have a fenced backyard and doggie door. Pepper sleeps in our room in her own bed, sometimes she likes to take naps in our recliner.
