About: I did the animal science program at boces for 2 years where I got to get hands on experience with all kinds of animals such as taking care of dogs. Due to taking the animal science program I am certified as a veterinary assistant. Right now I’m also going to school for my bachelors degree in canine training and management. I also have 2 cats of my own that I’ve had and taken care of since I was 11. Heads up I have 2 cats at home still so for boarding requests I cannot accept cat reactive dogs. It fits into my schedule for the summer because of college break because I won’t have school at all and I’ll be able to give a most of my time to your pets although I do have work Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Although since Monday Wednesday and Thursday I have work from 8 to 11:30 so if doing a boarding I wouldn’t be back home until 4:30 because of transportation depending so dogs have to be okay being home alone for a little bit. If I do house sitting I cannot get to a house after 7am and before 4pm due to transportation because I cannot drive due to medical reasons and only have transportation before 7am and after 4pm. Be up front and open. Follow and respect the animals and if you go to the home respect and follow the rules. I don’t have a fenced in yard.

About: Responsible and caring. I want to be sure all their needs are met so they are comfortable and safe. Pets deserve to be treated well. I have spare time to help a family out with their pets. I am truly committed to the time slots I say I am available. I have an indoor cat, but he loves to go outside, so I put a collar and a leash on him and take him out daily.

About: I've worked with all different kinds of animals, from domestic cats an dogs to guinea pigs,rabbits,lizards, etc. Family an friends have relied on me to walk, feed & bathe their pets. Along with grooming, nail trimming, etc. I work at a veterinary clinic with that being said I am available on weekdays anytime after 5:00pm and weekends anytime. Pet care fits my schedule great its what I was born to do working with animals. I have a huge yard to run around in with your critter, along with 1 dachshund to keep you oets company. If your pet needs to be crated or have medication, etc. I have plenty of room an chalk boards to remind of times for feeding an medication if needed. I currently work at a veterinary office. So pet care works into my routine on a daily. I have 1 dog of my own that I care for and make sure he is updated on shots, etc. I am able to pretty much do alot of things for pets, like nail trims, give medications if need be, alone with just walking the dogs etc. I care for animals anyways youd like your pretty to be cared for, if you pet needs medication, or certain play times etc. I'm more then happy to do so, I feel walking or having that one on one time with the pets is very important.

About: Hello! My name is Kayla, and I have over 7 years of experience caring for animals professionally, aside from caring for own companion animals for about 15 years. I currently work as a welfare specialist at an animal sanctuary, but have worked in four different animal rescue and care spaces. Along with my extensive knowledge and experience with animal care, I also practice positive reinforcement training and have worked with several different species to provide cognitive enrichment as well as training behaviors for cooperative care. I work full time, usually Monday to Friday, but can flex my hours if needed. Best times for walks and drop ins are Monday-Friday after 3pm and anytime on the weekends. I can board or sit any day of the week. My philosophy of care is to support our companions' natural and preferred behaviors in a way that protects their safety. Essentially, I let dogs be dogs. I do not believe in punishment, and will not use aversive tools such as shock, choke, and prong collars. If these are the tools that you use in your home, I will use my own harness or collar while caring for your companion. I believe in providing our companions with agency and understanding, not fear and restriction.

About: Hi, my name is Jessica and I have an almost three year old named Adeline. I was fortunate to grow up with pets and Addie has had two dogs since she was born. In our home, your pets are family! I am very comfortable taking care of doggies, playing with them, and making them feel at home. They will also have the pleasure of running wild with our two fur-babies Bronté and Thoreau! Please rest assured that while your pets are in our care, your time away will be worry free! I am a stay at home mom and am home taking care of your dogs for the duration of their time with me. I run my business from my home so I am home most of the time other than appointments and errands so your dog will rarely be alone. I have a large yard and a lead to put your doggy on plus two fur-babies to keep your doggie company. My whole house is open to dogs but I am happy to crate if needed as well.

About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. About: I have had pets all my life starting at a young age. I have always taken pride in the ability to take care of and enjoy the time learning and playing with them. They are just as much part of the family as anyone else in the house. We currently have 3 dogs; an American Bully and 2 Pitties that have become a huge part of our family. I work full time, however, have a couple hours each evening throughout the week and also have availability on most weekends after 9am as first thing in the morning is time for our dogs to go out and play. We have 3 acres for our dogs to roam on electric collars. They respect the collars enough we are able to let them roam free off leash all the time.
