“Amanda was a godsend for boarding our three dogs while we were away for five days. We were anxious since it was our dogs’ first time being boarded. The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. She sent us daily texts and pics, which was a relief. The dogs clearly loved her, and by the time we picked them up, they were chill, happy, and obviously well-fed and exercised. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. About: I have been a cat owner my whole life (57 years) and currently have 3 rescued cats, but I also care for my daughter's 2 rescued cats when she goes out of town. I love cats and would love to care for your cat when you are away as I understand how hard it is to leave your pets. I always want my cats to feel cared for even when I am away and would love to do that for other cat owners.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.

About: We live on 4.25 acres. We do have a large back deck that is attached to the house. Our dogs love going on the the deck to sit and bath in the sun. I have had all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. I am 34 years old that is wanting to do something that I love. I am married of 13 years, we have a 15 year old son, and have 3 pomeranian/papillon. We are very pet friendly. The dogs are free to roam as they please. We have potty trained our 3 dogs. We let our dogs on the furniture and through out our house, we believe in on open environment. Our dogs go outside as often as they like, we do not have a doggy door, but I do take them out every few hours when I am home. The dogs always have food and water that are out all the time. I drive a Chevy Traverse, for when I need to either pick dogs up from their home's or for when we leave the dogs have somewhere to sit. My services are great, because here in our house we love animals of all shapes and sizes. I take pride in taking care of our animals and yours as well. I own my own cleaning company and my husband works part time. Don't worry taking care of your fur babies will not get in the way of our schedules. Our back deck is fenced in on the top including a gate for the stairs. We do let the dogs outside as often as they like (typically every few hours.) Our dogs roam the house as they please and they always have food and water out.

About: I've loved caring for pets for family and friends over the years. Moved away from home so looking to keep that same experience around here. I'm generally off on Sundays and Mondays for work, and live close enough for potty breaks and I make my own schedule if enough notice is given. I have a fenced in yard which has been home to dogs the size of a Great Pyrenees down to a Yorkshire Terrier before. The home is large enough for multiple pets to have their space.
About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. My family has 6 dogs total, from a Chihuahua to Pit Bulls, so I’m quite familiar with taking care of different sizes, ages, and breeds. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.
“My yellow lab, Sandy, had a wonderful day with Claudia! Claudia was very responsive and engaging, fun, and bubbly. Since she was going to be taking care of another dog on the same day that I booked Sandy's stay, Claudia suggested that we meet both her and Bella (cutest pug ever!) ahead of time to see how the two dogs would get along. It was so nice to be able to do that so that it was easy for me to just drop Sandy off on her booked day without a worry. Claudia sent me fun videos and pictures throughout the day, which was fantastic. Sandy loved her! I will definitely book Claudia again whenever I am in Ithaca! She was fabulous!!”
About: I have taken care of animals sense l was little l have also taken care of few different type of animals l have done training and work some with seniors. I have plenty of time to play/ walk with the pups I’m always with them l make sure they come first. I’m available pretty much every week and weekends . I have two dogs that are friendly one has more energy and the other one is clam they love playing with other dogs. l don’t have a fenced yard we do plan on putting up one but l make sure they can still go outside and play . About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. We want your dog to enjoy all aspects of our home, but if they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious and need some alone time we have a room for them. I set my office up with a little couch and a dog bed and it’s perfect for a little alone time if they need it.
About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!
About: I have always had dogs in my life and understand the responsibility of taking care of them. I am currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program and have experience with taking care of rescue dogs, having to walk, feed, and play with them three times a day. I have also cared for others pet for weeks to months at a time. I currently have two dogs of my own and understand that it is concerning being away from them at times, and would want the upmost care for them. While you’re away from home, I will be there to make sure that your dogs are well taken care of. I will make sure that your dogs are happy, healthy, and as active as is needed

“Amanda was a godsend for boarding our three dogs while we were away for five days. We were anxious since it was our dogs’ first time being boarded. The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. She sent us daily texts and pics, which was a relief. The dogs clearly loved her, and by the time we picked them up, they were chill, happy, and obviously well-fed and exercised. We’re already looking forward to booking Amanda again.”
About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
“Jennifer watched my dog for 4 days while I was out of then. We did a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure all dogs got along, which they did! They also have separate areas for dogs that would prefer not to overly socialize. My dog had a wonderful time playing, swimming and taking walks with Jennifer and crew. Jennifer was great at communicating daily and sent lots of pictures and videos. It was clear that nacho was having the best time. I definitely recommend Jennifer and will absolutely book again.”
