If you need a pet sitter to stay at your vacation rental, motel or hotel while you go out without your pets, I would be happy to come pet sit! I am retired and available most any days. About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, feed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.
About: I may be young, but I've had multiple animals in my life already: 3 cats, a handful of dogs, some fish, and even a horse. I also did rescue for 5 years, being a foster family for numerous cats working with my local animal shelter. I also dog-sit for family and friends. About: I have excellent references with over 18 years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and grooming animals. I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher so I am available any time during the week to stay over and with breaks I can go and let them out for play and potty time. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I also have summers off (June-August) and can be home with your pets all day! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. “Catherine watched my cat, Rufus, on many weekends from 2018-2019. He is a skittish cat, especially around strangers, but he warmed up to her quickly. She fed him promptly and kept his water dish full and litter box clean. After Rufus had to have an emergency surgery, she aided me in watching after him while I was at work. I had been worried about him moving around too much and ripping his stitches out when I wasn't there to stop him. But my fears were calmed with her watching after him diligently and updating me when necessary or asking clarifying questions.
