About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and more than 5 years rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming street dogs, I bring a unique combination of compassion, skill, and reliability. I currently volunteer at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center, where I work hands-on with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. Whether in my home or yours, I provide attentive, safe, and loving care tailored to each dog’s needs. Your pet will be treated like family—because caring for animals is not just something I do, it’s who I am. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I work in delivery, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to be available at almost any time of the day. I do prefer morning appointments, but I’m always willing to adjust to meet each pet’s needs and ensure they receive the best care possible. In my home, pets enjoy a spacious and secure backyard where they can relax and play comfortably. They sleep inside the house with all the care and comforts they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I adapt to the services they request — whether it’s stopping by once or twice a day for feeding and walks, or staying overnight to ensure their pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10. I worked as a kennel assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience feeding, walking, bathing, and monitoring the health of multiple dogs at once. Outside of work, neighbors, friends, and family have regularly relied on me to care for their pets. I’m experienced with high-energy puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special care needs. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like my own. I am a recent UF graduate and I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pups! About: I've been an avid pet lover for as long as I can remember. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill and earned my veterinarian medical technician degree. I specialize in senior dogs needing special care, food and medication. I'm known for my behavior training of difficult puppies and dogs. I can administer all medications oral, topical as well as injections. Pet sitting is my full time job. My daily and weekly routines revolves around the dogs in my care. I never leave them alone more than 2hrs at a time and I only do that for doctors appointments. My dog Porkchop is a medical service animal and goes everywhere I go. I have a large fenced in backyard and I have a small service dog to keep your baby company. Your babies will be allowed on the furniture and the bed unless you don't want them too. I don't use kennels unless you want me to and you will have to provide the kennel. Your babies will have full access to my entire house. If I sit in your home I go by all of your rules for your baby. On drop in visits I will feed your pet and walk them as well as give plenty of love and play time. For walking visits I will give your baby a twenty minute walk and give them fresh water and a treat or two if they are allowed to have them.

“I own an Australian Shepherd who can be very unpredictable towards strangers and does not do well with other dogs so it’s always stressful to have to find a new sitter who can understand and handle my dog’s unique needs. My usually sitter was not available, so I reached out to someone new on Rover and Desiree responded back quickly. She agreed to do a couple of drop-in visits before I left for my trip so that I could feel more comfortable leaving him alone with her. Desiree did a wonderful job assessing my dog’s behaviors and didn’t shy away from the challenge. She was very timely with her scheduled visits and did a great job keeping both my dog and others safe during his walks. I also really appreciated the photos that she took at each visit. It made me breathe easier knowing my dog was in capable hands. I definitely feel confident to use Desiree’s services again for future trips!”

About: I am a recent FAMU alum who has in the past completed my certification in veterinary assistance. My general skills include basic grooming knowledge, medication admission, and basic emergency medicine. I have no issue with dogs or cats with medical conditions. I have worked in multiple clinics and shelters and have experience with dogs varying in size, age, and energy levels. I have worked with untrained dogs ie. rowdy dogs are not an issue. I am a strong believer in treats (within their dietary limits) for rewarding good behavior. Very flexible and willing to work with you and your pet's schedule. My goal is to provide an enjoyable and caring service for you and your pet. Recently moved back to Tampa after graduating currently on a job search in my career and have an open and flexible schedule at the moment. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment that does not allow pets. So boarding at my apartment is unfortunately not an option at this time.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have walked them my whole life. I have had Chihuahuas, to Black Lab and most recently adopted a pit-bull who passed away in May 2025. I also regularly volunteer for South Eastern Guide Dogs. I work 100% remote with a very flexible schedule so able to accommodate a wide range of availability. I live in the center of Tampa and easily able to get to a lot of different areas. Large SUV incase i need to get your baby and they are on the larger side as well. Currently have no dogs/children - massive apartment with a lot of space to play as well as parks, dog parks and giant open lot that is accessible to encourage health and wellness.

About: I’ve loved animals every since I was a kid. In high school I spent four years in the veterinary assistant program. I was responsible for feeding, walking, and taking care of a variety of animals. I’m a part-time worker so I’ll have plenty of time to look after your animal. This includes the weekends as well as multiple weekdays where I’ll be able to walk and sit your animal. I have a fenced off home with a wide space around the back and in the front. This allows room for my dog to run around as much as he wants without harming himself or others.
