In my family we've had three labradors two yellow one chocolate, golden retriever, and a neighbor German shepher With experience from walking, play, dog park, care, medication, food, training etc. I'm quite flexible with schedules. Will do morning, afternoon, evening and overnight on weekends and weekdays. I make and sell pottery online in my spare time on Etsy SunshinyPottery. I keep cookies in pocket if outside for play and or walks to keep nearby. I've trained my dog to understand when we're going somewhere by saying "straight to the car". About: Extensive experience taking care of both dogs and cats, with hundreds of volunteer hours at dog shelters (primarily Greyhound rescues)! Will give your pet all the attention it needs and ensure their schedule remains as close to home as possible! I am currently off for the summer and will be a full time grad student in the fall. Your pet will get all the attention it needs and will be taken care of as if it were my own! I have a friendly dog and two dog friendly cats (they love other dogs once they get to know them)! “I was in need of weekly drop in visits for about a month in order to ensure our cat's needs were met. Lily’s a small cat, so I initially requested visits every 7 days. I reached out to 2 providers. One declined because of the distance, and the other didn't respond. I was about to join another pet sitting service to see if they had anyone close by and tried Rover again. Amanda’s profile appeared, and bonus, she was only about 5 country miles away from my house. I sent the details to Amanda, and she accepted fairly quickly. A more detailed text followed to let Amanda know where everything was located. I had set up things the best I could before I left to ultimately make it easier for her. We had several texts about the ideal number of days for a visit. We decided to gauge it on the condition of the litter box, food and water after the initial 5 days between my departure and her initial visit. She recommended 5 days, and she changed the visitation dates, as I was limited to only daily, weekly, monthly, etc. and not a specific number of days. Amanda’s reporting and overall communication was great. Her summaries were prompt, comprehensive and clearly painted a picture a job well done. She was also able to get Lily to warm up to her after the first visit. That alone is a minor miracle, as Lily’s quite shy around strangers and even other family members. The bottom line? I was really appreciative of Amanda through this entire process and highly recommend her to anyone needing services close to her.”

About: I’m an experienced pet owner with three cats of my own (one being a foster pet). I would love a dog myself, but due to having multiple felines and a busy schedule, it is not the right time. However, I love taking walks and hikes and am overall very active. I would love to take along a buddy or two, especially if it helps someone out! I’m also open to drop in checks, or if there is enough notice I can flex my schedule to make sure your pup has whatever he or she needs to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away! I understand how scary it can be to leave the well-being of your pet with someone else and I will do everything I can to put your mind at ease while away from your companion. I work a remote/hybrid job Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. If someone is close I can pop in during the day to let the dog out or take it for a quick walk. And then I’m fully available most weekends and evenings. I would need some instructions from the owner on exactly what they need me to do, and I would appreciate strong communication. I know how it feels to leave your pets in the care of someone else and if I can ease any anxiety that would be great

Me and my dad used to bring dogs home every week! So working with animals is a thing that I absolutely LOVE to do! i’m currently working the entire day Monday to Friday. So I’m available to boarding on weekends, and at some evenings on weekdays, to have fun with your puppy! I will be taking care of your baby in your home. So I’ll make sure that his routine is followed, that he is feed and has water available, get his favorite toys and play a lot.

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. In my adult life I haven’t lived in a rental that has allowed for pets, but in my friend and family circle I am the caregiver point of contact. I’m the first person my people think of when they need pet or child care. I’m kind, compassionate, attentive, and fun. I currently work full time- getting to work at 6:30am and leaving by 2:30pm most days. Tuesdays I work a later day, getting out no later than 7:30pm. I sit all day at my job- so walking your pups is just as much a treat for me as it is for them. I am very attentive to the needs of pets. I recognize animals as intelligent creatures who deserve as much care and compassion as a person. I live in an apartment so I cannot host animals at my home.
