About: Hi! We’re Seth and Farrah, the team behind 504Doghouse. We’ve both grown up around animals our entire lives, and together we bring a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. We love what we do and treat every pet like family. ⸻ Our Pet Care Experience From Seth: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but my lifelong dog Phoebe — a miniature schnauzer — taught me what it really means to care for a pet from childhood through adulthood. Later, I fostered a high-energy Lab/Pit mix named Bella, who showed me how different breeds have different needs, personalities, and training styles. After serving in the military, I rescued my dog Deku, a border collie–schnauzer mix who learned full obedience and trick training within months. I’ve also helped raise my brother’s Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix, Snoop — another high-energy, intelligent dog who taught me how to handle rough play and stubborn behavior. I’ve worked at Petco handling small animals, volunteered at shelters, and now regularly walk dogs, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From Farrah: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, and my Boston Terrier — who I walked and ran with for over 10 years — shaped my understanding of daily pet care, consistency, and companionship. As an adult, I fostered a kitten for almost a year and have been house-sitting for the past 3 years. I’ve cared for up to 4 cats, 2 dogs (large and small), and even goats and chickens for the family I regularly house sit for. Pet care fits easily into our weekly routine because we both have flexible schedules. Here’s how we manage our availability: • Seth works part-time, which leaves plenty of open hours during the day for walks and drop-ins. • Farrah is currently pregnant and stays at home, so she’s almost always available to give consistent attention and care. • Walks are offered between 9 AM–6 PM. • Drop-ins are available until 8 PM. • Weekends and special situations can be accommodated upon request. • Because there are two of us, we’re able to provide reliable coverage, flexibility, and quick communication. We keep our schedule open to make sure your pet’s routine stays steady, stress-free, and well cared for. We take safety and trust seriously in every situation. When we’re caring for pets in your home, we follow your routines exactly, keep doors and gates secured, use your preferred equipment, and make sure everything is clean and locked up before we leave. For walks and drop-ins, we use safe, controlled walking practices, avoid risky dog interactions, watch weather conditions, and always keep your pet on leash. We send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Overall, we treat every pet like our own. With two of us working together, your pet gets reliable attention, consistency, and a calm, safe environment every time.
About: I previously worked at an animal shelter for three years. I handled all dogs and cats, the nice and the not so very nice. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. I’m a stay at home mommy, I take care of my son and my 1 year old pup. I’m pretty flexible on time. If I’m not able to do specific dates, I will mark them as unavailable to help assist with booking times. Please ensure that your pet is good with babies and other dogs before hand. I do not want to have any issues between the dogs that will cause harm to my baby. I have a fenced in yard, and I also have a block that I walk my pup around. If you have specifics for your pet, please let me know. I am pretty easy going when it comes to the proper care for your fur baby!
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and would love to hang out with yours! “My dog is actually ready to pack her bags and leave us to go live with Emily now! Sable needed to be watched during an evening event due to her separation anxiety, and she was not only happy to go to Emily’s house after we had a meet and greet the week before, but she also was completely comfortable and not even excessively eager to go home when we picked her up. Sable had a great time, and Emily sent many pictures documenting Sable’s day with her, as well as updates on how things were going. I have over a decade of experience working in the veterinary industry, so, unfortunately, I have seen what can happen to pets left with the wrong caretakers, and I’m very cautious with whom I entrust my pets’ care to due to this potential. I would trust Emily with any of my four dogs, and I am so glad she agreed to meet with me and watch Sable! Sable is happy to have some new friends built in with Emily’s own pack of 5 star canine employees (who were happy to show Sable the ropes, but also would have been content to take the day off and stay in their own spaces if Sable didn’t like or want to be around other dogs), and I am happy to have peace of mind that my dogs will be looked after with the same level of attention I would provide. Oh, and have I mentioned Emily’s yard and home? A paradise for pups and people alike with shade being provided throughout the day from oak trees and ramped decking (especially great for pups that can’t do stairs!), so the heat that may keep my crew indoors during certain times of the day at home is miraculously manageable at Emily’s house! This is perfect for those hounds that would rather spend more time outside, but the inside of Emily’s home is just as inviting with many comfy spaces set up for the pups to rest or play in a controlled climate.
