About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I have experience caring for cats and am comfortable meeting their daily needs. understand the importance of providing food, fresh water, a clean litter box, exercise, and attention. Cats are generally easy for me to take care of because they are independent animals, and I am familiar with their routines and behavior.

I’ve cared for my own cats as well as those of friends, family, and neighbors, including kittens, senior cats, and shy or anxious cats. I know that every cat has a different personality, so I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to feed, refresh water, scoop litter boxes, play, give plenty of affection (if they want it!), and keep you updated with photos and messages. I treat every cat as if they were my own and will make sure they receive the love, patience, and care they deserve.

About: I’m a cat owner myself, so I live the 'cat life' every single day. I know that every cat has a totally different personality some are cuddly, and others just want to be left alone in a sunbeam. I’m comfortable with all of it. As for the litter box I keep my own cat's box spotless, so I’ll do the same for yours. No smells, no tracking. As for the food I keep my own cat's water bowl clean and food bowl clean.

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

About: I previously worked at an animal shelter for three years. I handled all dogs and cats, the nice and the not so very nice. I had over 20 adoptions of dogs alone, with two aggressive dogs changed to happy puppies. I currently own a dog who is absolutely great I’m a dog lover. I’m a stay at home mommy, I take care of my son and my 1 year old pup. I’m pretty flexible on time. If I’m not able to do specific dates, I will mark them as unavailable to help assist with booking times. Please ensure that your pet is good with babies and other dogs before hand. I do not want to have any issues between the dogs that will cause harm to my baby. I have a fenced in yard, and I also have a block that I walk my pup around. If you have specifics for your pet, please let me know. I am pretty easy going when it comes to the proper care for your fur baby!

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Melissa is the exact kind of person you can trust leaving your fur baby with. I felt very comfortable at her spacious tidy place and I know my puppy did too. She took him outside nearly every hour since he’s only 3 months. She sent updates with pictures and was flexible with pick up time since it was a group event I was attending. I will definitely request Melissa next time I’m in or around Berkeley :)”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“Olivia has watched my young, energetic heeler puppy several times and is great! He’s had some joint issues and I really appreciated her keeping a close eye on him and being very communicative about how he’s doing. He’s always excited to see her and seems very happy being there. She has a nice outdoor area for dogs to play and seems genuinely excited to interact with them. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone needing someone to watch their pup.”

“Lisa was very sweet. You can tell how much she loves dogs. Our Anni did great, so I’m told. Since this was our first time using Rover we were nervous about leaving her. But after our experience with Lisa we will use Rover again. We are traveling across country and not every place is dog friendly. Thanks Lisa.”

“Beth has a true natural gift with pups! I’ve never seen Louis as happy as he is when he heads off to her—his whole face lights up, tail wagging a mile a minute. It’s such a relief and joy to know he’s in such caring, capable hands. Thank you, Beth, for taking such wonderful care of my boy. We think you’re the best and feel so lucky to have found you! 🐾❤️”

“We seriously cannot recommend Madison enough. She was absolutely incredible with our boys! “Amazing sitter, great communication, very accommodating, and you can tell she truly loves dogs. My dog stayed for a week and I got great updates throughout the stay. 100% recommend and will definitely be using her again!”

“Jessica was so flexible with pickup and drop off times. She took great care of my dog and my dog took to her straight away! She walked my dog and she has a wonderful yard for the dogs to play. She sent pics with a daily update which gave me tremendous peace of mind. I would highly recommend Jessica. She is reasonably priced and I will be using her again.”

“Shellie gave my husky so much love I am forever grateful! I have a 6 year old Siberian Husky with pretty bad separation anxiety. She went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable. She sent me updates (pictures, videos, ext.) that made it easy for me to know he was in good hands. Thank you Shellie!!”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“I was away for two weeks, which is the longest my dog, Max, and I have ever been apart. Leaving him with Roxanne and her family was the best decision ever. He was definitely well cared for, and the next time I travel, I hope they will take Max again. I highly recommend Roxanne. I know how important it is to be able to trust your dog sitter and I absolutely trust Roxanne and her family.”

“Desirae was great, going above and beyond, treating Jazz' chronic ear issues better than we do ourselves! Jazz seemed happy (via the photos and videos) and took to her right-away. He was in excellent hands.”

“This was Zoe’s second stay with Ella. Zoe was very happy to see Ella. Zoe‘s wagging tail and running to greet Ella told me everything I needed to know. Zoe was very happy to board with Ella again. Thanks Ella for taking such great care of Zoe.”
