About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. This includes feeding, walking, bathing, and tons of play. I have taken care of pets of both family and friends. About: My first love has always been animals. My family got our first dog when I was 10 and I started taking care of neighbors fur babies not long after. I have over 20 years of experience in pet care for BOTH dogs and cats. While I am a proud dog mom myself, I also enjoy caring for cats. I have also worked at a dog training facility and have experience caring for dogs professionally as well as working with dogs for training too. I can promise that when I care for your fur babies, that they will be treated as my own and how I hope someone would care for mine. I am able to do drop in visits as well as overnights. Just let me know what your fur baby is used to and we will make it happen. I love being able to care for pets in their own home because they are in their own environment while you are away which can be a huge decrease of stress. My job is the make them feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. I hope you will select me to care for your fur babies and I hope to hear from you soon! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday life as a dog mom. Adding care for your fur baby will be easy. I am really looking forward to be able to enjoy dogs and cats that are new to me! I always give updates and take pictures to send to the family of the dog and/or cat. I know when I am away from my dogs it helps to see pictures of them. I also keep the family in the loop. I always ask that the family leave vet information as a just in case. Whatever your dog or cat needs is what I will do. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you are not there.

About: I've taken care of pets in some way or another for most of my life, whether they were family pets or pets of friends who needed a hand. I grew up around dogs of all breeds and sizes- from dachshunds and chihuahuas to pitbulls, labs, and german shepherds. My petsitting experience began in college when I stayed at my dad and stepmom's house caring for their two dachshunds, Pepper and Rachel, while they were out of the country for two weeks. I also did drop-in visits for my friend's dog, Milo, for years. Any time my friend was out of town, I would come over twice a day to walk Milo, feed him and refill his water, and spend some time playing or snuggling with him (whatever he was more in the mood for). More recently, I have become my friend's go-to petsitter for her Aussie-pit mix, Olive, and her elderly black cat, Annie. When I stay with Olive and Annie, I make sure to let Olive out a few times a day, feed her at night, make sure her water bowl is full, and give her lots of love and attention. I also make sure Annie's litter box gets cleaned twice a day, that her food and water bowls are always full, and that she gets the medicines she needs when she needs them. I work from home, with a pretty flexible schedule, so I am usually free to walk, play, or otherwise care for pets throughout the day. I can also provide longer walks in the morning or evening if needed. Since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I can dedicate all my attention and energy to yours while you’re away! I am totally comfortable with housesitting as well as petsitting. If it makes your pet more comfortable to be in a space they are familiar with, I will gladly come to them! I am always respectful of clients' homes, cleaning up after myself and making sure to follow any rules left by the owner.

I didn’t travel for many years while my dog was aging as I didn’t want to leave her and felt like her care instructions would be too much to handle.
