“Atxiri helped me watch my dog Freya in my home while I went out for the evening. My pup is a rescue who is still settling in and struggles with separation anxiety, we are working on slowly do desensitizing training but going slowly. Atxiri arrived early and Freya was comfortable with her in just a few minutes as she took the time to sit on the floor with her and let Freya approach at her own pace. She was very responsive via text and sent me lots of fun photos. Additionally, I asked her to keep an eye on a potential cough Freya was experiencing and she provided me with detailed feedback when I returned home. She was very respectful of my home, caring to my dog, and communicative throughout. I highly recommend her!”

Above all, it's so refreshing to have the peace of mind that my dog is okay and looked after with such care when Markie is around.”

“Liz was everything we could ask for and more in the way she housesit and cared for our special needs beagle. She took him on great walks, had no trouble administering his meds (11 pills twice a day plus some additional in his food), and was constantly updating us with photos, videos, and texts. She put us totally at ease being away from our pet, and that is rare given the demands of a special needs dog. She is at the top of our list and is the first person we’ll call anytime we go away again.”

About: My experience ranges from casual to professional environments. I have dealt with all types of behaviors in an animal hospital setting as well as with family/neighbors pets. I have administered various forms of medicinal care and nothing is outside of my comfort zone. Im currently using Rover and other services to make ends meet so I dedicate most of my time to this. Between that and owning my own cat, dog and guinea pigs my work and leisure time is spent doing pet care. I just cant get enough! My home is extremely comfy for any furry companions. No rules with furniture or boundaries with indoor fences so they are as comfortable as they can be.

I make sure they're comfortable in their space, giving them affection and attention. If needed, I take them out for a potty break. I ensure they have fresh water and are in a relaxed, safe environment, helping them feel accompanied until you get home.

“We had plans to board our dog for vacation but he got giardia and couldn't go. 3 days before our planned vacation, I contacted Jack and he saved us. Met me the next day and he became fast friends with Bear. Taking care of a dog with giardia isn't fun- up in the middle of the night and liquid poo, but Jack did it all. He sent us constant updates about how he was doing. Our dog loved Jack and the pictures made us more relieved that he was in good hands. Our rental offered us an additional night for free and Jack was more than happy to stay the extra night. Our house was well cared for in addition to our dog. Couldn't be more pleased! “Kevin took great care of my two frenchies while I was travelling. One has special needs and both take a number daily medications and Kevin handled it all perfectly. They also have allergies and special dietary requirements and were happy and healthy when I got home. Kevin kept me updated with cute pictures everyday and was great to work with! My apt was also left neat and tidy! Thanks so much Kevin! Will definitely rebook for our next trip!”

About: I’ve had family dogs all my life, and now since moving out on my own I adopted my first dog Stella. I am constantly outside taking her for walks or runs, which is why I am so open to taking care of other dogs with or without Stella. I am currently in an online masters program for social work and work an evening job which allows me to be home during the day Monday- Friday. I have a good size town home and porch, where there’s lots of room for both my dog and your dog to stay and play.
