About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of my own for the past 18 years, and offering services on Rover since 2021. I love going for long walks with the pups and cuddling with kitties. My last pooch crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years, so I am familiar with senior dog care and administering topical and oral medications. I’m home on weekends, and working a 9-5 during the week. Dogs who are not kid friendly would be more of a challenge, but feel free to message and we can see how to make it work. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named BingBong at my home in New Castle and 1/2 custody of a very friendly 5 year old lab/Australian shepherd mix dog named Onyx. I work a full time 9-5 Monday through Friday, but happy to stop by before and after work. My schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I prefer drop in visits and walks in your pet’s home, environment with limited availability for boarding, house sitting, and doggie day care upon request.

“Shelby took great care of our cat who needs some extra attention, including daily medication and has a bit of separation anxiety. We appreciated the photos she sent and comments about how he was doing while we were away. We highly recommend Shelby and look forward to booking her again in the future.”

“Morgan was great with our 2 kitties. They need to be separated and she spent time with both of them on her visit. She kept their environment clean, made sure to give them treats, and lots of pets and cuddles. She sent pictures of both every visit and kept us up to date on any mishaps. We would rebook her in a heartbeat.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for family and friends for my whole life. I always loved animals and grew up taking care of our family dog and cats. Currently, I have two pups- Clover and Willow and cat, June. I have been off of Rover for a while but I have some time off work coming up so I’d love to start pet sitting again! My calendar is updated and I have time to spoil your pets whether it’s at your house or mine. I am always happy to be able to go out for a walk as well! I am active and I enjoy taking walks or providing playtime for your precious pups or cats! I will treat them as my own if they stay with me!

About: My entire life we have had a motley variety of pets in our home. Dogs and cats have always been our staples! I love the fun, quirky, excited energy dogs give out at every age! I know a few training techniques for small commands like sit and lay down, most of our dogs have been rescues so we were more focused on earning their trust and working through anxieties than working through commands. They have always been the best most loyal and protective out of all❤️ I do bring one, occasionally both of our kids on overnight visits so I do ask for kids friendly pets on those, however drop in visits are sometimes flexible! As I am doing this to stay at home with my littles I am extremely flexible with dates and times, unless ofcourse I have prior obligations to other sitting jobs. I am open to one time, weekly, monthly or days on end. Whatever you need help with I will gladly help! For your pets comfort and convenience for you I do visits at your home. No need to pack up your pets! I will be on my way! However if there is an emergency while you are gone I can definitely take them into my home❤️

Because I’ll be caring for your pet in your own space, I prioritize the boundaries and expectations that you set! Let me know how I can utilize your space to make your pet happiest, and I’ll do just that.

About: Hello! Lifelong animal lover here. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical from work and enjoying settling into our new life on the Western Slope. We currently have a 14 year old Australian Shephard / Husky whose love language is long meandering walks. I’m Type A, active, and have experience with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 14-year-old pup for a long walk mid morning and again late afternoon. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live on 3 acres near Rifle Mountain Park, set back from the highway. Peaty can generally be found lounging outside in the sun, or sleeping on his bed next to the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed.

“Mikaela was fantastic. She stayed extra everyday and I'm sure Wilee enjoyed having her here. He was much calmer when I returned home so I know he was happy. Thanks again for feeding him and playing. I will gladly check with Mikaela in the future. Hope your cat likes that food too!”

About: Lifelong animal, pet, and nature lover! I have been caring for other peoples pets for over 12 years. Unfortunately, life got a little too busy for me to continue with this enjoyable “work”, but now I have the flexibility to re-cultivate this passion once again. From walking your dog, to taking them on adventures and hikes, to overnight stays, I am available for whatever you and your precious pet’s need are. I have a Chihuahua mix of my own that I rescued in 2020, and he is such a sweetheart and a major lover of cuddling. During my downtime, I can be found reading, hiking, cleaning, or doing yoga. For a small additional fee, I would love to help you with any other needs you may have, such as house work/organizing, cleaning, or light yardwork. I have full flexibility and availability to meet all the needs and desires of your precious pet! From walks, to hikes, to overnight stays, I am available! I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals we meet. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.

“Brandi was amazing. We booked her to do drop in visits for our kitty, Dexter, while we were out of town this weekend. We have only had him for about 2 months now so this was our first weekend away from him which made us nervous. Brandi made sure to take pictures of not only him, but pictures of her with him and sent them to us dailyHighly recommend this kind lady”

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have always been the first person people call when they need a house sitter so I have many references. I have worked as a doggy daycare attendant in my hometown for a year before moving to college. I was trusted with up to 70 precious dogs at a time and responsible for keeping everything clean and giving them each individual love. My family also breeds basset hounds and have been responsible with litters up to 10 and am experienced in puppy care! :) I am currently a college student with long breaks in between my classes and most afternoons off. I am available for house sitting on most weekends. If you want your dog to have a quick walk in the middle of the day, I am your girl! I will make sure I have detailed instructions from you and will be sending lots of pictures and videos of your cute pups! I will be coming to you with any questions, big or small.

About: I have raised many puppies and cared for them through their senior years. This is the first time in my life I have not had a dog of my own. I am wanting to do some pet care to fill the void until I am ready and able to take on another fur baby of my own. I have plenty availability to accommodate your pets needs. I am also an early morning riser and would be happy to provide early morning walks. I have a doggy door and a fenced yard so your dog can come in and out of the house at his/her leisure. If your dog prefers the comfort of his/her crate we have the space to accommodate this option as well.

Dominique H.
“Nikki is the most wonderful, caring, responsible dog sitter a doggy parent could ever wish for. She has cared for our senior Great Dane and cat on many occasions. Our Dane has many medical issues at his advanced age and he requires a lot of medication. Nikki is the only person that we trust with him, she is so patient and kind. She has stayed with our pets for anywhere from an overnight to a couple of weeks. We are always able to relax knowing that our pets are so well cared for, which wasn't something we were able to do before finding Nikki. Not only is she a responsible and trustworthy caregiver, but she is also a certified vet tech, so she has a tremendous amount of experience working with animals. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than Nikki. She really is a dream come true for us.”

“Sophronia radiates love for animals wherever she goes, and my own love for animals has grown tremendously simply by having her around as a friend. She is an excellent mother to her cat Peach, and she is also great with dogs, small children, and all other kinds of tiny living things. I would trust her 100% with my pets”
