“Toni was wonderful - or should or should I say Aunt Toni after this weekend!! She was so professional and committed when I first met her. When I was home, I felt like she really cared about me and my dog. She kept me updated and checked on me while I traveled. Traveling for my job is stressful for my whole family, and I felt so at ease having her help. I highly recommend Toni to everyone!!”

“Britney was great! She spent a lot of time with my fur baby. A lot of people are a little frightened of my dog, but Britney knew how to approach her and it was fine. I received a lot of photos and she exercised my dog each day. Highly recommended! Thanks Britney”

“Samantha was great! After reading her other good reviews, we felt she’d be a good choice for our two cats (both friendly, but one is a sneaky wire chewer and needs closer watching). We got daily updates with photos, making us feel good about our cats being safe, and the cats were calm and happy when we got home.”

About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.

I work full time Tues, Wed, Thurs, which leaves me free to pet sit Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon. Perfect for those long weekend plans! I have a large, safe, fenced in yard for your dog to play. “This was our first time using Rover because our dog Champ is an older shepherd that is losing his ability to walk on his back legs. I am happy to report that we were over joyed that Kiara came in advance to meet Champ and get to know him. Champ took to Kiara right away which made us feel comfortable with having to leave him in her care. Kiara came in before we had to leave which made it less worry some for us. Kiara was very good at staying in touch with us as to how things were going and shared pictures with us as well. I would highly recommend Kiara and will definitely call upon her services again.”

About: I have been helping care for our dogs my entire life but I’m really only counting since I was 10. I’m not sure if I would count earlier as helping lol. I would dog sit for family, friends, and coworkers too. I always make sure they are happy and feed. Along with making sure all their energy is out too. I will follow all food instructions that they have. I have given dogs pills before if they require them. I have limited experience with both elderly dogs and puppies, however I am willing to learn what they will need from me. I do work full time but I have an hour lunch where I can run back to let them out. I work from 8-4 so if they don’t need to be let out during the day I will let them out immediately once I get back. I do not do much on the weekends so weekends will be spent with furry friends. I will care for your pet in your home and make it as close as to their routine as possible. I have walked dogs on a leash and have good control. If they do not eat human food they will not be given human food. I always stick to the portions that I am told when feeding them too. If I have a concern about one of the furry friends I will contact you immediately to see what you would like me to do.

“Misty was great. We came home to the house being in better shape than we left it. Plants more alive than ever, Odin was happy and all was well. I highly recommend using Misty for your pet/house sitting needs. We will definitely be repeat customers :)”

About: Hello, my name is Ashley. I am a little new to pet care but I am eager to get started! I have had dogs my whole life and have always helped out with them. I have pet sat a few times and administered medication. I currently have a 5 year old Labrador Retriever and watch my friends dogs a lot. I enjoy taking them to the beach and to the dog park very frequently. I have always been an animal lover. Any animal, any size! Though I don't yet have any professional experience, I hope to gain some. I did work at a pet store while I was in high school and learned a lot about pet health and caring for ill animals. I hope to be able to engage with your animals and build a relationship with them as well as you! Thank you! I’m currently working full time as a bartender. I typically work 3pm-11pm but my schedule does vary week to week. I can be pretty flexible with hours when necessary. I have a dog of my own that I take on walks or to the park every day! I do live in an apartment so I take my dog on walks daily or we will go to the dog park or on a trail nearby!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. The first dog I called mine was a miniature schnauzer named Poca. I got her when I was 5. I have had many dogs over the years, as well as cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, and other types of pets. I have worked at animal shelters for months of my life. I would feed animals, give them water, take them outside, help administer medicine, watch them in the yards, and just generally love on them. I also have experience working with wild animals at zoos. I have open availability for pet care services, as my main source of income is gig economy work. I am flexible, so no matter what you need, I can likely make it work. I make sure your pets always have access to fresh water, and depending on how your pets are usually fed, I can feed them on a schedule or set up free-feeding. I will also make sure they get plenty of attention.

About: I’ve pet sat for friends, family friends, and colleges for over 7 years! I have also repeatedly been asked to pet sit for the same families! I am very detail oriented and will bring so much love and care to your household while you are gone! Making sure your animals are kept safe, happy, and well taken care of is my mail goal! I have a light work schedule over the summer, I work 2-3 days a week during the morning into the afternoon! If you need me on those days no worries I will stop by before and after work if you need! I am very flexible and will attend to what you need! I prefer caring for pets in your home, my home is already at capacity with my 3 dogs! So keeping your animals at your house with me coming to visit is best case scenario!

“Amelia was fantastic and my dogs loved her. She sent lots of pictures and videos while we were away . Would definitely recommend her. I feel like she’s a friends because we kept in such contact with dig updates :-)”

Basket pet parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor stayed at my house to watch my Ollie while I was away. She gave Ollie lots of love, and even took him on some adventures! Ollie got sick right before I went away, and was on a bland (human food) diet and lots of meds while I was gone. Taylor stuck to the feeding & medication schedule while I was away. I felt that Ollie was in good hands! She also sent lots of updates and photos, which was great! I would definitely recommend Taylor!
