About: I have over 20 years of experience working with animals, most particularly horses, but also including dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and more! In my experience working on farms, through my aunt’s multiple dog grooming salons throughout NC, and through owning my own pets, I feel confident in my ability to work with all breeds and all types of dogs and cats. I have rescued many animals over the year through what I like to call “Kendall’s animal distribution system” since it has seemed that lost or injured animals somehow find their way to me, from several baby dear, birds, cats, dogs, and several lizards. I have been fostering cats on and off since childhood, and have had two successful ones so far this year. I care about all animals like they’re my own, and am excited to take excellent care of yours! I personally am taking care of my own dogs and cats morning and evening every day, so pet care is engrained in my daily life. About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
