About: I've grown up around and have had lots of dogs throughout my life. I've had experience caring for all kinds of dogs big and small. I can also manage multiple dogs at once, and can give each pup tons of attention and love. I have a very open schedule both weekdays and weekends. I'm home from college right now, staying with my parents, and have my own car for any transportation. I live in a neighborhood with a large dog park, and plenty of trees and bushes to sniff. If necessary I have a medium-large sized crate.

“Winnie loves her walks with Amanda! Amanda has been wonderful, great communication and always shares cute pictures. She’s been able to adjust schedule as needed. Highly recommend!”

“Kris diligently worked to persuade my neurotic dogs to go on a walk with her. She was very patient and understanding with them and I look forward to working with her again”

“Christian was an amazing caregiver for our pup while we were gone. She's extremely thoughtful and thorough about getting to know each animal before beginning her time with them, and as a rescue owner I really appreciated that! Will definitely be using her again.”

“Dakota connects well with our dog Patrick and is able to re-direct him when he wants to just turn around and come home. Our pup can be just one small ball of over excitement and exuberance and they handle that well. Dakota has been very reliable and always lets me know if he needs to adjust the time a bit.”

About: I have always grown up with both cats and dogs in my household and have been a lover of animals from a young age. I have house sat for most of my family members before I went to college and consistently watch my roommates cat, who has lived with us for four years, anytime she is out of town. I currently am a full time graduate student at UVA, just looking for a few jobs here and there between classes and another part time job! Most of my availability is in the morning and afternoons on the weekdays and afternoon and evenings on the weekends. I have been told on many occasions that I have a loving and kind demeanor which I will share with your pets. I would be honored to give your pets some love when you are out of town, working, or just busy!

“Miriah is a great communicator and a clear lover of animals! Churro took to her as soon as she came to the house for our meet and greet. Despite heavy rains rolling through, she took him for a nice long walk and made sure he was comfortable. I will happily book her again, and I know Churro would be excited to see her!”

About: I adore animals and find joy in providing calm, caring support for pets of all kinds. I enjoy creating a peaceful environment where pets can feel safe and comfortable, and I feel extra comfy in meeting shy or reserved pets where they are, offering gentle introductions, following their routines, and giving them space to relax and settle. I love spending time with pets in their own homes, whether it’s having a bit of playtime, or sharing quiet moments and simply being present with them. I also enjoy peaceful walks in local spots like Foxhaven and Monticello and would be happy to bring your dog along to explore these beautiful places. If your pet prefers a calming stroll around the neighborhood, I’m just as content with that too. I’m comfortable with routine feeding, litter box care, and generally giving plenty of love and attention to help your pet feel at ease while you're away. Pet care naturally fits into my day-to-day life. Right now I work part-time, which means I have all of Tuesdays and Thursdays free, as well as plenty of time on weekends. These days are perfect for leisurely walks, cozy cuddle sessions, and any further attention your pet may need. Beginning June 1, summertime will bring even more flexibility to my schedule. This will allow me to offer more personalized care and be more present for your pet throughout the week, whether it’s a midday walk or just some extra quiet time together. I’m here to help your pet feel happy, comfortable, and cared for in a way that’s tailored to them. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to create a calm, safe, comfy environment where they can feel relaxed and at ease. I make sure there’s plenty of space for your pet to feel like they’re part of the family, tailor activities to each pet’s personality, whether that means a cozy spot for rest or engaging play sessions, and of course ensure they have everything they need, from food and water to any special instructions you may have provided. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their routine and keeping their space familiar. I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, walks, and other care, ensuring that they feel at ease in their own environment. I take the time to connect with your pet in a calm, gentle manner, offering them the same love and attention they’re used to. It matters a lot to me that they feel safe, secure, and happy while you're away.

About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

“I'm very thankful to have found Emil. I work in retail and consequently work almost every weekend. Emil walks my little chihuahua for me every Saturday and Sunday. He's very reliable and I never worry that he won't be able to make it. He also responds to any requests or questions very quickly. I wholeheartedly recommend Emil if you need someone to help care for your pups!”

About: I have had pets in my house my whole life - dogs, cats, chickens, horses, etc. I am very comfortable with all animals and I LOVE spending time with them. My family and friends have trusted me to take care of their animals, and I am always up for the task! I am petsitting on Rover while attending medical school at UVA. I have class 8-12 M-F, but my classes are often recorded and are only sometimes required. I do have required class 1-5pm on Thursdays. I would love to hang out with your pets and do some studying during down time :) I will not be taking your pets to my home, but I am happy to take care of them in their own! My biggest priority is keeping your animals safe and comfortable, which I feel is best accomplished in the place they call home.

About: I've been caring for pets for years and have always been surrounded by animals. I grew up with cats and black Labrador Retriever. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, from puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m also experienced in handling leash training, and recognizing behavioral cues to ensure pets feel safe and loved! I’m currently only offering weekends until I figure out my schedule for the summer since I’m working part time and doing research! I can do house-sitting/overnight stays, drop ins, and walking! I'm happy to go on long walks or to the park for some fun! For lower-energy dogs, I'm just as content to relax with them or enjoy some calm time outside.

About: I grew up on a farm with several dogs and cats so I have always loved being surrounded by animals. Responsible adult who is looking to make some extra money. I have vast experience with animals, including taking care of my own pets and helping to take care of my friends' animals. I currently have two cats and a 5yo Pitt/Australian Shepard mix. I lived with and helped to take care for my past roommate's Great Pyrenees dog for almost 2 years. I have dog-sat for several friends' dogs ranging from a 12 year old Beagle to a 1.5 year old Bernese Mountain dog. Look forward to spoiling your loyal companion! Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. My job allows flexibility on Mondays and I do not work on Fridays so I am able to help out as often as needed on those days. Unfortunately other days I am working my full time job so have very limited availability. Will come to your pet so that they are comfortable in their own environment. Not currently offering services that would require pets to be in my home.

“Samantha did 9 drop in walks for my 6 month old doodle. I trust her to go above and beyond in the care and exercise she provides. Her communication was great; she offered to meet me and my puppy before and was friendly and professional. I’m more convertible leaving him home now; will definitely work with Samantha again!”

“Bailey is an extremely responsible caregiver for animals. Being my roommate for nearly 5 years now, she has helped me take care of my own cat when I go out of town, and treats her as her own even when I am there! When it comes to caring for animals, Bailey does much more than the bare minimum of ensuring safety and food. While these are essential, Bailey understands that playing and interacting with animals is equally important. In other words, your pets will not only be taken care of, but they will also have fun playing, going on walks, and interacting. I would highly recommend Bailey to anyone looking for someone to watch their animals!”

Miriah D.

“Miriah is a great communicator and a clear lover of animals! Churro took to her as soon as she came to the house for our meet and greet. Davila G.
“Davi took care of our two cats for a full week and did such an incredible job. She clearly cared about our pets and asked us lots of questions and took lots of photos while we were away. One of our cats is a rescue and is quite fearful around new people. Davi has a gentle warmth about her and clearly treated our little buddy with special care, because she came out from under the bed for snuggles every time she visited. That is a huge deal for her. After coming home from our vacation, both cats were sweet as can be, with no sign of stress or resentment toward us for leaving. Clearly, that meant Davi gave them plenty of attention and love. We will continue asking Davi to care for our pets and cannot recommend her enough!”

Amber E.
“Amber has watched our dog numerous times and we never worry!! She’s very reliable, responsible, and responsive. Amber is a natural with any animals and always treats them as her own! Aspen is always excited to see her! Even now with him getting older, she writes down notes and follows our instructions with his medications and supplements to ensure he is comfortable and taken care of! Anytime we go out of town or we’re just out for a while, we call Amber! Our minds are always at ease knowing Aspen is with Amber :)”

Emil F.

“Kiersten is an exceptional pet sitter who has cared for both my dog and cat on multiple occasions. She’s reliable, attentive, and truly loves animals. My pets absolutely adore her! I always feel at ease knowing they’re in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!”

Chelsea C.
“Chelsea has sat for my dog Daisy on two occasions. She stayed at my place while she cared for her and I could not have asked for a better experience! I could tell she really cared about Daisy's needs and also was a very clean house guest. She communicated regularly and was a lovely person to work with. When I returned home, Daisy seemed very happy!”
