About: I've grown up around and have had lots of dogs throughout my life. I've had experience caring for all kinds of dogs big and small. I can also manage multiple dogs at once, and can give each pup tons of attention and love. I have a very open schedule both weekdays and weekends. I'm home from college right now, staying with my parents, and have my own car for any transportation. I live in a neighborhood with a large dog park, and plenty of trees and bushes to sniff. If necessary I have a medium-large sized crate.

About: I have always grown up with both cats and dogs in my household and have been a lover of animals from a young age. I have house sat for most of my family members before I went to college and consistently watch my roommates cat, who has lived with us for four years, anytime she is out of town. I currently am a full time graduate student at UVA, just looking for a few jobs here and there between classes and another part time job! Most of my availability is in the morning and afternoons on the weekdays and afternoon and evenings on the weekends. I have been told on many occasions that I have a loving and kind demeanor which I will share with your pets. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to create a calm, safe, comfy environment where they can feel relaxed and at ease. I make sure there’s plenty of space for your pet to feel like they’re part of the family, tailor activities to each pet’s personality, whether that means a cozy spot for rest or engaging play sessions, and of course ensure they have everything they need, from food and water to any special instructions you may have provided. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their routine and keeping their space familiar. I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, walks, and other care, ensuring that they feel at ease in their own environment. I take the time to connect with your pet in a calm, gentle manner, offering them the same love and attention they’re used to. It matters a lot to me that they feel safe, secure, and happy while you're away.

About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

About: I have had pets in my house my whole life - dogs, cats, chickens, horses, etc. I am very comfortable with all animals and I LOVE spending time with them. My family and friends have trusted me to take care of their animals, and I am always up for the task! I am petsitting on Rover while attending medical school at UVA. I have class 8-12 M-F, but my classes are often recorded and are only sometimes required. I do have required class 1-5pm on Thursdays. I would love to hang out with your pets and do some studying during down time :) I will not be taking your pets to my home, but I am happy to take care of them in their own! My biggest priority is keeping your animals safe and comfortable, which I feel is best accomplished in the place they call home.

About: I've been caring for pets for years and have always been surrounded by animals. I grew up with cats and black Labrador Retriever. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, from puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m also experienced in handling leash training, and recognizing behavioral cues to ensure pets feel safe and loved! I’m currently only offering weekends until I figure out my schedule for the summer since I’m working part time and doing research! I can do house-sitting/overnight stays, drop ins, and walking! I'm happy to go on long walks or to the park for some fun! For lower-energy dogs, I'm just as content to relax with them or enjoy some calm time outside.

I have vast experience with animals, including taking care of my own pets and helping to take care of my friends' animals. I currently have two cats and a 5yo Pitt/Australian Shepard mix. I lived with and helped to take care for my past roommate's Great Pyrenees dog for almost 2 years.
