About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! With over 27 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds, from exotic birds and reptiles to dogs, cats, and small furry companions, I have a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their unique needs. I do work full-time, but I’m happy to work around my schedule to care for your babies! With at least a day’s notice, I can usually make arrangements and am flexible when it comes to finding a time that works best for everyone. 😊 When I’m not at work, I come home to my own little zoo—so caring for animals is definitely my thing! 😂🐾 I treat every pet like they’re my own, with patience, attention, plenty of cuddles, and lots of love. Whether your pup needs a walk, company while you’re away, or they just need some extra TLC, I’d love to help. Pet cuddles are the best—and I’m pretty lucky that I get to make them part of my day! ❤️🐶🐱 I work full-time, but I still have plenty of flexibility to help with walks and potty breaks during the day. I’m available to stop by while you’re at work to give your pup some exercise, attention, and a chance to do their business. 🐾 I’m also available for occasional pet sitting in your home when my schedule allows. I would need to know about a week in advance. Just communicate with me your needs and I'm sure we can make it work! I know how much peace of mind it can give you to have someone reliable caring for your pets in the comfort of their own home! I will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and supervised during walks, potty breaks, and visits. I’m careful about doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also respect your home and your pet’s space, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you leave for their care. 🐾❤️

I am confident and able to care for pets who may need specific handling requirements or have special needs. I also love working with and training with animals with behavior concerns. I am a full-time college student, but am remote which allows me the ability to drop in for care, walks, and more throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and friendly dogs for any pets who may want company. Dogs traveling in my car will be safely kenneled or buckled. I also understand different needs and would love to create a plan with you to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible.

I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. That is just one of the many fun stories I have from growing up surrounded by a variety of animals. I’m pretty comfortable with all personalities of pets and am very accommodating to specific routines and lifestyles. I used to work at a pet hospital so, that educated me on how to care for injured or sick pets. As well as, how to handle different behaviors of pets to benefit their safety and day to day life. I believe that all pets deserve kind and loving care no matter the age. I’m currently a stay at home wife with plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available Monday-Saturday all day and Sundays after 12 PM, unless we make special accommodations for overnights or other accommodations. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing and exercise. I also have two dogs that love making new friends. For boarding at my house I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time. Whether it’s in the backyard playing, going on a walk, or a trip to the dog park. I’m also up for quiet days with snuggles on the couch. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. I also have indoor cameras to monitor my pets while I’m not home, so your pets will always have an eye on them even if I’m not physically there to ensure their safety. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. If you have special instructions for your pet care I am open to almost anything, I don’t think any ask is too big or too small.
“Brittany is great!!!! Made my mind easy to know she is experienced in giving shots! She took great care with my “baby” like he was her own! My spud had special needs and she went beyond expectations with him. Thanks Brittany so much! I highly recommend her!!!!”

About: I have taken care of my families pets, and my neighbors pets since I was 13 years old. Everyone and my neighborhood trusted me to go and feed their fur babies and if need to be, take them for a walk. I am currently working part time, as a certified nursing assistant. So I have very flexible hours and I’m willing to work with your schedule. If your fur baby will be boarding with me, I have one loving dog they can play with and/or I have two very playful cats and a variety of space where they can play.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
