About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. When I am hired for a pet-sit, this is my focus and priority. I can schedule all my other work around it. I have a lovely minimalist home for your pet, a small garden and plenty of leashed walking in the woods space for regular exercise. If a dog is ok with car rides, I’m happy to take them to the beach.

We share our home with cats and a dog, volunteer with local humane societies, and have experience fostering and caring for kittens. We can care for pets in your home, or welcome them into ours if they’re comfortable around cats. We require a meet and greet before any booking so everyone, including our own pets, feels comfortable. While your pet is with us, we’ll follow their routine and treat them like family. My husband is retired, and I work from home, so we can give pets attention throughout the day. We plan care around each pet’s needs, whether that means visits in your home or a stay in ours. We start with a meet and greet to learn your pet’s routine and decide together whether they’d be most comfortable in your home or ours. Cats are our specialty, and we also enjoy caring for dogs who are comfortable with everyday walks and visits. We don’t offer dog training or behavior modification. A stay in our home depends on your pet being comfortable around our six cats and large dog. We have a fully fenced side yard and a fenced backyard, and visiting pets are always supervised outdoors.

I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.
