(June 2025) Im a long time dog owner, Breeder & Dog show enthusiast! (25+ years) Im proficient in all aspects of pet care from grooming to birthing. Im a CNA licensed in the state of Va, as well AED first aide and CPR certified. I have shown and handled many cocker spaniels to their championships, all the while raising three children. (now grown and successful!) My dogs and my children make me proud! We are located just minutes from the 95 and Kings Dominion theme park! If your pet is intact your per day rate will be increased. I'm self employed and fit my rover clients into my schedule as needed. I always make time for our rover friends. We love to have visitors. We have a fenced yard, and crate our guests if needed. Our dogs are very social and dog friendly. Please take note we have a cat.

About: I've had pets my entire life and have been given more responsibilities with age. I have a dog a cat, and a horse that all need special care from ear infection treatments to prescription drugs. My family and I have also cared for many stray cats and even fostered one's six kittens. I’m currently a college student on summer break and I’m available during many periods in the day. These time periods are perfect for me to give your furry family members a walk, pets, and food! I am super enthusiastic about getting outside and love to go on long walks with my dog. I can also pop in to feed your furry friend and give them attention when you're away.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. At one point I owned 4! I am moving home from college and just got a job in Richmond. I am very flexible and will be in town to help out whenever needed! I am an elementary school teacher in Hanover County during the school year! I am fully open during the summer to care for your pets during the day. I treat them like my own! On walks, I’m happy to let dogs take their time, especially senior dogs who benefit from slower pacing and plenty of sniffing. During the workweek, I’m available for morning and evening walks, drop-ins, and care. When I’m house sitting, I can provide morning and evening walks, and on Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, allowing for additional presence and a midday check-in or walk during my lunch break. On weekends, I have more flexibility and availability, which allows me to be more present and attentive to pets who benefit from extra time, companionship, or a relaxed routine. I will come to you and your furry friends. I follow routines as closely as possible and create a calm, safe, and respectful environment. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was the age of six and I have a great way and love with them . My schedule varies weekly as I have a college retention student job and I get off pretty late but I’m very flexible. I can always work around getting your pet taken care of! I care for them with love and with their necessities as needed on a daily bases whether it’s taking them out for a walk twice a day or feeding them twice a day as well or any extra care like giving them their meds as needed as well.

About: Recently moved to RVA. I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to ones of my own I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day. Let me change up my day to day by helping you out with your pets! I live in my own home with plenty of space for walks, trails nearby for exploring, and an open and clean home for time away from the sun.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs multiple times for an about 4 years. I’m very understanding and don’t ever get mad or stressed with animals even if they don’t listen and I always have a good time spending time with animals. I have a part time job so my routine is pretty flexible. If you need a last minute sitter for a night or for a few hours let me know! About: I’m a healthcare worker who loves pets! We had 2 Shetland sheepdogs growing up. I have raised 2 chihuahua puppies, and one needed multiple eye surgeries and follow up care. I have consistently sat for and walked friends dogs (multiple at a time). I have taken in a neighbors cats for months after an emergent situation, and my family members have cats a well. No pet too big or too small! I love them all :) I am currently working part time 2-4 days a week so I will have a lot of time to care for your pets! On my off days I’m available any time, especially day time. I can meet your pet care needs! At home we have an open field but also a fenced in area and two small dogs which can play or be separate. I can follow your schedule as far as potty and walks and am able to walk long distances and play! I know some kiddos can be picky eaters like mine so I will happily embrace your pets quirks! No request is too strange and I will not have any problem respecting you or your pets routine.
