“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. About: I’ve had 6 dogs, 2 cats, and grew up on farm my entire life. I’ve cared for cows and pigs as well. My dogs have been as big as an American pit bull to as small as a Yorkie. I am working online but can’t help care for dogs/cats at anytime. I am able to drive up to 20 minutes and do what needs to be done whether it is pet sitting or walking. I love to be outside so this Florida heat is not too much for me. We love our dogs and cat and keep them very comfortable with their needs coming first. We are animal people that will listen to our clients and care for their animals to their specific needs and wants.

About: I have always had a love for animals. Communication is most important while parents are away from your pets. I would love to work with you on sticking to a routine that works. I love sticking with a routine and I know your pets do too! I would love to work with you and your pets in the best way I can. Trust and communication come first. About: I have cared for many pets my whole life! I’ve taken in feral litters of cats and helped raise them until they were able to be adopted, I have cats, and help with the care of 4 dogs of varying sizes. I have had cats and all types of dogs growing up! I love making sure furry family feels loved, and gets taken care of. I am just starting out, however Rover is my full time job. I use this platform so I can still care for my little brother on the weekends. Some people have help with Rover, but I am working solo so please be patient with me. I have a fenced in portion of the yard just for our dogs to run around as they please, they have set meal times and have constant access to love and snuggles! My cats also get all the love and playtime they want.

About: I've always had dogs my whole life. I've learned a lot about dog behaviour, training, healthcare and welfare from life experiences and from my long-term friend Jill Silver, who specialises in dog/animal behaviour, training, holistic animal healthcare, and raw feeding for dogs. My dogs are my family, and I will treat any dog in my care as such. I currently live and work on the property with my two dogs, and being that I'm looking to turn this business into a full-time job for myself, I would be on the property 24/7, and when I do go out, it is for no more than several hours at a time. Otherwise, my dogs and I miss each other too much. 😆 Although the five-acre property I'm currently staying at is fenced, it's important to note that nothing is entirely dog-proof. I have a separate fully fenced play area right outside my back door which offers plenty of room for your dog to take care of their business, and safely play off leash with my two dogs as well. While my dogs can roam freely within the property's boundaries, any client's dogs would need to be on a long leash attached to me around my waist during any time outside of the designated play area. This way, I can supervise their playtime with my dogs, ensure their safety, and also build a bond with your dog. Once a client's dog has had the opportunity to build a stronger connection with me over time, playtime outside of designated area can be off-leash, and only if I am confident in the dog's ability to come back when called and only if the owner is entirely comfortable in my ability to handle their beloved furry Freind.

I work part-time, so I can take your dog out during the morning shift or lunch breaks, ensuring they get the attention they deserve while you’re at work. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8. I love animals and make sure they have the most attention and love we can provide so they always feel like home with us I work home health so I am never gone more than a couple hours a day … I will make sure they are walked and snuggled and loved all through the day I have 3 runs in my back yard I have a back room that’s used for animals and plenty of gates and crates if need be. The dogs will have lots of love and affection here as well as exercise

About: I have loved on pets my entire 45 years on this earth. I believe they deserve our love and care for their loyalty and the joy they add to our everyday lives. I would appreciate the opportunity to provide care for your fur babies. I work in the school system, so I get off mid-afternoon and am able to spend time with pets in the afternoons and evenings. Schools are closed weekends and holidays which allows me to spend extra time with pets. I have a fenced in backyard for your pet to run and play. I have 2 friendly dogs, Bella and Dobby, to keep your pet company on the couch. I have one cat, Malachi, who will make a point to completely ignore your pet. I can accommodate a crate or your pet can have the run of the house like ours.

About: I've helped care for not only pets, but also my younger siblings since a young age. I have a kitten named Shiva and my family recently cared for a mother and son pair of husky/German Shepherd mixed. Sadly, due to our situation at home, we couldn't keep the dogs with us. But, due to my love for animals, my friend recommended I apply to be a pet sitter on Rover. I have some experience with injured animals and caring for them. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently a full-time student-athlete at Florida Atlantic university but I am home for the summer, I can dog sit/walk 2x in the week and over the weekend. My schedule will be right fit for this job. Proper pet care also includes exercising your pet. Exercise is an important part of your pet’s mental, as well as physical, health. If you spend any time on social media, you know that all kinds of animals like to play such as this ball-playing turtle, this dog playing fetch by himself or this bird playing with a red cup. Pets also benefit from socialization, whether that’s regular interaction with you, having guests come over, or trips outside of the house. Expand their horizons and improve their people skills while helping them to safely experience new things!

About: I've have two dogs of my own, one is a blue heeler/ rottweiler named Tak and the other is a Vizla whos name is Haruko. Which means sunlight child in Japanese. He has the more golden glowing eyes! I also have been around dogs most of my life, my partners mom got us into volunteering at The Bully Project and we go and walk the dogs just because.My partners mom use to work there too. I also grew up with close to around 20-30 cats at once when I was a little girl, I was always so use to being surrounded by them in my yard and hanging out with them as much as I possibly could. Ive always been real sensitive to animals and their feelings, it's literally a sixth sense. I was currently managing and running my own professional wedding photography business but have slowed down drastically to focus on the little things. Im interested in dog/cat sitting and getting into learning how to grow a garden. Im wanting to take a huge break from social media and work more in the physical world. I also have two dogs of my own so its always been in my routine to care my my pets and take care of them. I have a huge open availability this whole year. I don't recommend having them stay at my own home just because of how high energy my Vizsla is. I do however recommend I come to your home to watch them. I promise to make sure your pets are comfortable with me there, make sure they go outside as frequently as needed to go to the bathroom, take medication, have cuddles, and watch for all the little things. Even keep the active on commands/tricks if they use any, that way they are consistently engaged. Im always outside the entire time with my dogs even though we have a fenced in yard because I want to make sure they don't dig under the fence and escape and that they are truly looked after in the best possible way.

About: Hi, My name is Morgan. Never in my life have had to live without animals. I love taking dogs to the dog park (if they're vaccinated :) ). I will be looking into starting the boarding after switching apartments with more lenient roommates! I will not only stop by and take care of your pup but I will also play with them so they don't get bored. Also, if interested I can also socialize them with my year and half old sweet GSD, she loves making new friends. I do find myself as a genuine and a trust worthy person. If you choose me to take care of your fur baby I can personally guarantee they will not only stay safe as well as happy!
