“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

About: I have such a love for animals especially dogs and cats I have taken care of cats since I was 12. And growing up I liked to help family members out with their cats and pets too. I of course would clean the cat litter, give them their food (mixing in wet food for a special treat or special diet). I make sure their food bowls or water bowls are clean so they do not get sick as well! And of course spend some time with them and play with them so they are not bored or feeling lonely.

I recently have been a Canine Palatability Specialist and have many years of experience in kennel management and veterinary care. Also well knowledged in animal behavior and puppy raising. I am available Monday - Friday From 7am - 6pm with night visits when needed. Some weekends 10- 6 when available. On lunch from 12 - 1. I offer a range of care from feeding, medications, potty breaks, socialization, walking, and grooming as well as behavior and puppy training visits. I have 5 small dogs of my own and they are indoor dogs that need cut and groomed very ofen. They are provided food ever AM for the day and eat at their own pace so they self manage. My dogs are open roam throughout the day also with access to a yard at their convenience (dog door). They go into their cages at night and when needed throughout the day. I medicate them with monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention and have them regularly checked and vaccinated by our local vet. I do trim nails and cut hair if needed.

About: Ever since I was young I did not only taking a liking to all animals, as I found they too took a liking to me. Sometimes I could see pieces of myself in their souls. From then on I've been infatuated with helping them. That's become quite the task as I'm a mother now of 2. Having your own "pets" is just having a bigger family in my eyes. I've always been the friend that takes in pet guests so they can go out of town. Or house sit if necessary beings all the different types. I figured why not make a job of it!! Pet care is extremely important! I use this time daily even for snuggle time to make sure no one even our own furries are left out. It fits in just like breakfast. It's extremely important and can become very meditative. I treat guest pets with as much love and freedom as our own. I'm in a very wooded area and our pup never ventures too far and guides the other dogs around and plays with them to get them back in. He's very clever. However I would never let a guest be unleashed while unattended. While your away I like to take all opportunities to improve! Unleash time is a HUGE start and is always impressive. These simple tasks once mastered can save you pups life if ever left unattended unleashed in a new scary place. I intend to help even if it's for one day we can work on just having fun and playing inside and talking walks in the outdoors together! About: Hello my name is Kaylin, I am from Ohio and grew up around animals, especially dogs/cats. Nextdoor was a Veterinary hospital where I sought out volunteering in the interest of helping animals. As a child, I imagined I would work with animals in some way. When I was 6 years old, I decided to brush our Jack Russel Terrier’s teeth with a toothbrush! I have always treated our pets as family members. After graduating high school, I moved to Northern California for 11 years where I attended a junior college and started working with Rover. In 2017, I received a pet grooming certification after a 9 week advanced course from The West Coast Grooming Academy in Pasadena, CA. I have taken dog walking/training courses while also volunteering for a local animal rescue foundation! We recently moved here to Sebring and I am excited to be offering my services here. Independently I have gained work as a mobile pet groomer and have previously been employed at a Petco grooming salon. Because of my love for animals, I assure you any pets in my care will have a positive experience. About: Ever since I was young I did not only taking a liking to all animals, as I found they too took a liking to me. Sometimes I could see pieces of myself in their souls. From then on I've been infatuated with helping them. That's become quite the task as I'm a mother now of 2. Having your own "pets" is just having a bigger family in my eyes. I've always been the friend that takes in pet guests so they can go out of town. Or house sit if necessary beings all the different types. I figured why not make a job of it!! Pet care is extremely important! I use this time daily even for snuggle time to make sure no one even our own furries are left out. It fits in just like breakfast. It's extremely important and can become very meditative. I treat guest pets with as much love and freedom as our own. I'm in a very wooded area and our pup never ventures too far and guides the other dogs around and plays with them to get them back in. He's very clever. However I would never let a guest be unleashed while unattended. While your away I like to take all opportunities to improve! Unleash time is a HUGE start and is always impressive. These simple tasks once mastered can save you pups life if ever left unattended unleashed in a new scary place. I intend to help even if it's for one day we can work on just having fun and playing inside and talking walks in the outdoors together! About: I’ve taken care of pets pretty much all of my life! I love animals and I make sure they feel safe and are taken care of. I’ve taken care of puppies, kittens, and senior animals. For senior pets I would massage them a lot due to their arthritis and for the babies I would make sure they are getting their proper food and naps while also prioritizing play time so they can learn and not feel lonely! I’ve had pets with special diets (mixing certain wet food for treats or special dietary needs). I am big on spending time with animals because they have feelings as well and keeping them safe is a priority! I am currently a nursing student with a busy schedule but as long as we can communicate we can make a schedule together! I do usually have two days off which are Wednesday and Friday (I usually use those days to study and I can fit more time in with pet care these days). Some weeks the schedule may be different but I will always be open about what my schedule is looking like. In my home I have an Australian Cattle Dog blue heeler. He has a lot of energy and a sensitive tummy he is on a routine with his food and has a special diet. I make sure he has enough outside time and play time due to his high energy but also make sure he gets his time to calm down and rest. For pets I have I taken care of for others I would make sure they are fed and have water while also spending time with playing and lots of pets!
About: I have pet sat for neighbors in the past and have had a dog on my own who I have trained to do multiple tricks. Patient person who has always been fond of animals I am currently looking for full time employment so in the meantime I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am pretty flexible for the time being! I will care for your pets by making sure that they are walking in a safe location, if house sitting I will check to make sure that your pet’s surroundings at home are safe, and will diligently follow any dietary regulations/ health routines.
