“Lauren was excellent! She has a true passion for animals, which becomes immediately apparent from the first time you meet her. She treated Harper with the same love and care that her own animals get. She walks the dogs frequently and far, so they get plenty of exercise time. Her dog poppy is very laid back and gets along great with other dogs, even when ours doesn’t at first. She was great with sending pictures and keeping us updated on their daily walks and lounge time. While she was there, our cats (that she was not sitting) had a few accidents on our floor. While she was dropping my dogs off, she picked up the accidents that were made by our other animals. “Max was amazing. We dropped off our 3 month old puppy, Huevito, and were pretty anxious since he’s still so young and on a strict routine. Max immediately put us at ease by sending videos of Huevito and his own pup wrestling and playing in the yard. He followed Huevito’s schedule exactly as we’d laid it out, which was such a relief. It was clear Huevito had a great time - not just playing, but also learning how to be a good dog under Max’s care. He even helped desensitize Huevito to blow dryers so he won’t be scared at the groomer, and he kept up with his kennel training too. When we picked him up, he was freshly bathed with his nails clipped. Now that he’s back home with us, we can tell that he’s happy, tired, and clearly had a good time with Max.”
