About: PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PENDING REQUESTS TO OTHER SITTERS. Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by family dogs (mainly the bigger breeds). I got my first dog on my own almost 5 years ago and my 2nd last year. I have seen and cared for dogs in all stages. I do work full time with a flexible hourly schedule and can help with care as needed. Currently I work 9-5 and I walk my boys every night and can make most scheduling needs work! I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs myself. While I’m home the dogs can all be interactive together in and outside, while also being walked. While away from home and for sleeping dogs will be crated for safety purposes (never longer than 8 hrs for work)

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy learning the ropes or a sweet senior needing extra support, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners, crate comfort, and potty routines. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs—administering medication, helping with mobility, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Your pet won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new friend who truly cares, communicates well, and treats them like family. As a student with a very flexible school schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet care pretty easily—as long as I have a little notice, I can make it work! I love spending time with animals, whether it's getting outside for a good walk or just hanging out at home. On weekends, you can usually find me curled up with a furry friend or two—it’s honestly my favorite way to relax. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure pets feel secure, loved, and right at home—whether that means sticking to their usual routine, keeping their environment calm, or giving them extra one-on-one attention. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to walk times and any special quirks your pet may have. In my home, I keep things clean, cozy, and pet-friendly, with lots of snuggle spots and safe spaces to relax. Building trust with both pets and their people is important to me, and I always aim to communicate clearly and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you're away.

About: My family has adopted rescue dogs since I was 6 years old. I'm very familiar and comfortable with dogs with anxiety and digestive issues. I have dogsat relatives' dogs throughout high school and college and started dogsitting coworkers' dogs as soon as I joined the workforce. I work a 40 hour work week but work remote 2-3 times a week. I am a close walk to work, so I can always come back quickly without issue. My night and weekend schedules are incredibly flexible. I live close to many parks and love going on walks. I also like taking dogs on runs if that is of interest. I've been trusted to dogsit in numerous families' homes and pay extra attention to being respectful while there.

About: I’ve had at least 1 pet my entire life, so I’m no stranger to caring for pets in my home. Beginning in middle school and until now, I’ve been entrusted by family, friends, and coworkers to take care of their pets while they’re away. I have experience with house visits, walking or dog park trips, and overnight care. While I don’t have direct experience with pets who require medical attention, I’d be happy to learn with you. I do have experience with senior pet care. Overall, I guarantee I’ll take care of your pet like my own! I recently graduated from PA school and am job searching currently, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available for daytime care or overnight care daily. When looking after your pet, I will always take care of them like my own. I’m happy to play with them in the yard, take them on walks or to the park, lounge with them on the couch on a rainy day, or crate them if needed. I can stick to strict meal or medication times and will ensure they have potty breaks with appropriate clean up.

“Jahaira took great care of my senior kitty! She was excellent at responding and sending photo updates, as well as giving my cat her needed medication and wanted play time”

“We are so glad Kristine was available on Christmas Day to check on our cat. She came a few days prior on late notice for a meet and greet and provided a nice update!”

About: I'm a dog lover in every regard, I have two yorkies (Theo and Winnie) who love to play, well trained (although vocal), and moving downtown. I've done rover for a number of years so I'm experienced with medications, senior dogs, pack behavior, training puppies, etc. If you have questions feel free to ask. I work in an office 4 blocks from my apartment M/Tue/Th, I'm remote Wed/Fri, my hours are 9 - 5. Outside of that I am active, there is a cute little dog park opening downtown and I love walks. I can't have pets in my home but I treat your pet as much as my own as you would like. I like to know all their normal routines/rules to maintain consistency for them as well as what they enjoy so they have fun when I hang out. I understand pets need time to gain trust with new people but I secretly love when they realize I'm safe and I love them.

About: My name is Tishara I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have volunteered in multiple humane societies for a good year, working with all kinds of pets and learning about their behavior. I also was a past walker on rover 3 years ago as a side job when I attended high school. So, I’m Glad I am able to continue my journey with Rover, and will be able to walk different kinds of dogs or cats. I will treat your companion with the same amount of care as I would want my pet to be treated with. I am the ultimate dog lover and really enjoy spending time with them. I am confident that my skills and experience make me a great candidate for this position. I work a standard 9–5 schedule Monday through Friday, so I make sure to build pet care into my mornings, evenings, and weekends. Each morning, I start the day by feeding my pet, refreshing their water, and taking them out for a short walk or some quick playtime before work. After I get home, I dedicate time to a longer walk or more active engagement to make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. On weekends, I usually carve out extra time for grooming, vet appointments if needed, and longer outings like park visits or socialization. I stay consistent with feeding and cleaning schedules, and I always make sure my pet feels cared for even during my busiest weeks. When caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I follow a consistent routine that includes regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and any special care based on the pet’s needs, such as medication or grooming. I also make sure the space is secure and enriched with toys, comfort items, and plenty of interaction to keep pets happy and stress-free.

About: I have always had dogs in my house since I was born. I have taken care of them and love to be outside and go on walks. I also have experience pet sitting for friends and family and making sure the animals are getting well cared for. I will be starting school soon and will be able to walk dogs occasionally based on my school schedule. Just message me about days/times and we can figure something out. I have lived with and cared for dogs with all different needs. I am able to crate dogs or provide them with any services that they would need. I can adjust to any person's home.

About: I've had dogs, cats, and even fish my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities — including Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Malteses, Huskies, and many lovable shelter pups. I’m confident working with pets of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog needing extra patience, or a shy rescue cat, I’m here to offer gentle, attentive care. I treat every animal like part of the family — with plenty of love, playtime, and belly rubs (if they’re into that!). I’m also great at sticking to routines and following special instructions — whether your pet needs medication, extra exercise, or just a little extra reassurance while you’re away. Right now, I don’t have a full-time job and am focusing on applying to medical school, so I’m available weekdays during normal working hours. I can also do occasional later afternoon visits. I’m not taking weekend bookings at the moment. I have my own dog who I care for every day, so I’m happiest when I can balance giving love and attention to both your pets and mine during the week. I’d love to help care for your furry family members while fitting into a routine that works well for all of us! I provide dog walks and play visits at your home, so your pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety by always keeping pets on leash during walks, watching for hazards, and giving them plenty of breaks and water. Since I rent an apartment, I do not offer overnight or in-home pet care, but I’m fully committed to making every walk and visit enjoyable, safe, and stress-free for your furry friends. I treat each pet as if they were my own and always respect your home and routines. I have my own car, which allows me to arrive promptly and comfortably at your home for walks and play visits. This helps ensure I’m dependable and flexible with scheduling. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have lived and taken care of dogs since I was five years old I love taking care of dogs because each time is a different time. I have had to take care of dogs in need of different medication‘s either young or old. I love taking care of dogs also because they love to sleep next to me if I get to stay there or even just playing with them in the yard is the best part! I am a nursing student at Marquette University. I have school for about 3.5 hours everyday, but can be with your pet during the times I am not in school. Right now I have a German Shepherd rescue who is two years old and she loves to play! She is such a sweetheart and I have learned so much being her mom.

About: I’ve had a dog for most of my life, so I’m very comfortable with all the day-to-day care, attention, and love dogs need. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs, whether that meant stopping by to feed and walk them or staying overnight while they were away. I’m confident with different dog personalities, and I understand how important it is to keep them on their routine and make them feel safe while you're gone. While I don’t have formal training, I bring patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every visit. I currently work weekend nights, which leaves my weekdays and daytime hours pretty open. Since my schedule is very flexible during the week, I’m available for regular walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I'm reliable, responsive, and happy to tailor my availability to meet your needs! I am only able to care for your pet in your own home right now. That being said, I prioritize respect, cleanliness, and safety when it comes to your space and your home. I will take time to understand your pets personality, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Communication is also important to me, I can provide updates and photos to give peace of mind while you are away. I am very committed to creating trust with both you and your pup!

Ashley W.
“Ashley is quite the do lover. She no only loves dogs but has tons of energy for those who like to be super active. In the time I have known Ashley she has not only watched dogs I've had and done an excellent job but she is also a former foster with a local dog rescue. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”

Kira H.

“I began hiring Sydnee when she was in middle school to take care of my two girls, Mollie and Frannie. She was always loving and took care of them as if they were her own. Sydnee dog sat off and on all through high school and college too. When Frannie developed diabetes, Sydnee was eager to learn how to best give Frannie her injections. I miss having her nearby and truly wish I could hire her again to take care of my girls. Sydnee was always very respectful of my home leaving it just the way I like it. I highly recommend!”

Eva M.
“Eva has grown up with family dogs her entire life. Her experience is mostly with mid size dogs, like labs. She has also had experience with larger dogs like Great Danes and small dogs like French bulldogs. Eva is very conscious of making sure the dogs are walked and does not have a concern about taking more than one dog for a walk or taking them to dog parks. She has worked for multiple families taking care of pets including cats and dogs.”
