“Kayla is an animal-lover through and through! She is polite, professional, and was exceptionally kind to my bunny. I felt comfortable with her in my home, and welcomed her daughter (who is also and animal-lover) who befriended my sweet bunny! I got cute pictures, she followed all my crazy instructions, and left my pet and my space exactly how I asked her to. I will definitely go to Kayla next time I am in need of a pet sitter! 🙋🏻♀️”

15. Ava K.
About: There's never been a time in my life where I've lived without at least a couple of critters running around, from cats and dogs to crustaceans and weasels. Though I've never made a profit off of looking after others' pets, I've spent a fair amount of time fostering, mainly cats and dogs, and volunteering at my local animal shelter. As a result, I have a lot of experience caring for senior pets who may have medical needs or temperamental issues and younger pets who may need a bit of extra training or encouragement. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I'm no stranger to caring for them. The best part is that I love doing it! I'm currently enrolled in school 9-5PM Monday through Friday, but I'm free to immediately head anywhere I'm needed and willing to spend the night if necessary. On weekends I'm completely free and would be more than happy to stay overnight! My home is overlooked by three older cats and one who turned a year old in July. The youngest is always looking to find a new companion, but the others keep to themselves. We previously had a doberman, so we have a large backyard with no toxic plants and a stainless steel wire leash that allows exploration of the entire yard. Pets will be supervised at all times, and I'd be more than willing to make any accommodations to make sure you feel safe leaving your furry companion with me.

16. Sydney N.
“I’ve seen Sydney care for my dog, as well as her adopted dog, and it’s obvious the love she has for animals. There is no one I would rather entrust my dog to when I’m not around than her.”

17. Leslie E.
About: I have had pets my whole life. Dogs and cats. I have experience with dog training and cats. I cannot have cats due to a family member’s allergies. I currently work full time but have evenings and weekends free. I enjoy spending time outside with animals. Your pet will be loved and cared for as my own. I have a fenced in backyard and someone is always home. My house and family are very pet friendly! We lost our dog 9 months ago and at this point are looking to help and provide care for other people’s pets.

18. Amanda L.
“Amanda moved in with us and our fur babies a few years ago, and we adore all three of them. She has such a gentle touch when handling our cats and is always loving on them even when they are stinkers. Our two cats have welcomed her into our home just as we have and have added Amanda to their human list of making morning and evening rounds of the house to make sure everyone is safe. I feel Amanda would provide a loving and nurturing environment when she cares for any animal, which is why she is best suited for Rover.com and its clients.”

19. Samantha S.
“Samantha did a fantastic job watching my dog. I had to be out of town for the weekend and she made sure to give my dog all the love and attention I would have, and she even shared photos and updates while I was gone to put me at ease. Samantha followed the rules related to the safety of my dog (medication, must be on leash outside, etc.) with no hesitation. I would strongly recommend Samantha to watch your pet.”

20. Brianne T.
About: I'm a trusted member of the community. Whenever someone needs pet care, home care, help with many things, they come to me! I love animals and I have a wide variety of experiences with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I'm a Critical Care Paramedic who lives right here in Janesville & I have a schedule that allows for flexibility and longer-term planning because I get my schedule one month at a time. As a pet parent myself, pet care is an integral part of my everyday life. I understand the importance of the smallest details in your pet's routine. Since I'm a Paramedic, I get my work schedule one month at a time and have more flexibility during the week than people who work typical 9-5s. My own pets love my schedule and I think yours will too. If you're coming to me: I live in a secured building with my three gentle, friendly, playful kitties. The community where I live is extremely pet friendly, lots of walking areas and waste stations for doggos, and I'm right by Palmer Park. It's a safe area with unlimited space for walks and adventures. If I'm coming to you: I'm safety-minded no matter where I'm at. I will collect your mail, water your plants, and triple-check the locks before I leave. Your pet will be in their familiar space. I will treat your pet and home with respect. No matter where we are: I will send you updates, photos, and notify you immediately of any concerns. I will treat you and your pet with respect.
