When I went to do a meet and greet with my golden. We got to talking and she said she would be willing to take both. She was amazing! I didnt have to worry all weekend long about them because she would send me updates with happy pictures every day. They always looked so happy with all the walks and belly rubs. Highly recommend! About: I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. I currently have one nine year old Chihuahua mix on seizure medicine twice a day. We have a fenced in yard with a chain link fence perfect for letting your dog run around. I am usually up by 5am to go for a run or cycle. I work from home regularly so I can be flexible with letting the dogs out. I have a fenced in yard with one friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company. I have cameras in the home to keep an eye on the pups if I do need to run out.

About: My husband and I are frequently taking care of our grand pups! Both 4 years old. We treat them like our own. One’s a chocolate lab, the other is a dachshund. I am an early riser. I get my morning exercise done then am pretty free the rest of the day. With the exception of an occasional appointment here and there. We do not have a fenced yard but would do daily walks. We have a path near our home. We also have lots of dog toys.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Grew up on a farm & helped with the horses, chickens, cows, cats, dogs. Currently training a bernedoodle, Dunkin, for the Southern Wisconsin Therapy Dog Association. Dunkin will visit nursing homes, student centers with autistic and special ability facilities, some medical facilities based on needs. If you ask family & friends, they’ll tell you that I cannot pass any animal without affectionately acknowledging them. And only if the animal is willing, I will give lots of love. I genuinely enjoy animals far more than people. ;) I have taken multiple levels of dog training courses. I also enjoy riding the family horse, Apache, in my free time. I have a pretty flexible work schedule but I work most days 8-4:30, M-F I am available before work, after work, evenings until about 10-10:30pm and weekends. Or overnights if booked. In client’s homes, I would use whichever method they prefer. If they leash potty an animal, I will do that. If animal runs in fenced in yard, I will stand in yard & wait. If they have a special request for animal, I will discuss with client if I am capable of said request.

“Kaitlyn was wonderful. Went over Jensen's history was provided a tour of her home, very clean and definitely set up to welcome dogs. The report card was spot on with what we expected. Provided a calm environment to welcome a puppy who has been through a lot in her short life. When we got home, she acted normal. With our previous dogs we boarded at kennels but felt the need to try something different with a puppy that spent most of her life at a shelter. Our dogs would be wiped out when they came back home. So far not seeing any of that from her stay with Kaitlyn.”

Bode was diagnosed with lymphoma at 5 and has been in remission for 2 years. I grew up with labs as well as shitzus and my dad has a 9 year old golden. I would prefer to meet any candidate prior to boarding as they will be in the same space as my golden, he’s a gentle giant and gets along with all animals. About: I am the second oldest of 8 kids and I have taken care of pets and kids ever since I was little. I love cats and dogs and get along well with many breeds but prefer small dogs because of strength and we have a huge yard but it’s not fenced in. I am currently available 24/7 and just have small increments of time I would be gone for a doctors appointment occasionally so I can take the dog out often. We keep them well fed and hydrated and cuddle for cats and dog and for the dog we also let him out on the long chain or my son takes him from a walk because he is a larger breed.

About: My family and I truly enjoy watching other family’s animals. It allows us to help families not worry about their pets when they are not able to take care of them. I’m a full time teacher, so I have quite a bit of flexibilities during the summer time. I am available to board during the school year as well. From having both dogs and cats growing up, to working as a Sea Lion trainer at the Milwaukee County Zoo, I have learned how to care for, and train, animals on a daily basis. For safety during walks in my neighborhood, there are no sidewalks so we walk against traffic so we can see oncoming cars with dogs on the right side of me farthest away from the road in grass. In the winter, I follow a cold-weather walking policy for safety: if it’s too cold for me in an t shirt it’s too cold for them! Usually requests winter weather gear like boots and coat but one can be provided(washed after every use with pet safe detergent). (Black puffer and no slip socks.) Night time walking- don’t worry about the days getting darker I’ve got it covered with my reflective gear, flashlight, collar light clips, and more. I currently offer overnight house sitting, typically from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., when many pets appreciate the comfort of having someone with them overnight. During the day, I may have other work or personal commitments depending on the booking, but I always communicate my schedule in advance so expectations are clear. I strive to keep pets on their normal routines for meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and companionship while respecting the schedule that works best for each household. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially seniors or pets with medical needs, and I do my best to minimize disruptions to their daily routine. I am able to pick up your animal and drop them off for an additional fee ($10 / day). When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining the environment and routines they already know. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, exercise, household rules, and any special care your pet requires. I take time to build trust with each animal, allowing shy or anxious pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Safety is extremely important to me. I pay close attention during walks, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and never hesitate to contact an owner if I have a question or concern. I also treat every home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine, keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for during your absence. Communication is a key part of my service. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of dogs since I was just a wee one. We got our first dog when I was 2. I started taking in cats when I was a teenager. Animals just seem to gravitate towards me and we always become best friends. I am reliable, super friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for your fur babies. I work part time as a hairstylist, and hang out with doggies and kitties the other part of the time. Sometimes you might find my head in a book or on a fun diy project. “I highly recommend Kaitlyn!! I have 2 big boys 1 is a Doberman and the other is a golden mix. They fight if their in the same room. So was going to have Kaitlyn watch just one of them. When I went to do a meet and greet with my golden. We got to talking and she said she would be willing to take both. She was amazing! I didnt have to worry all weekend long about them because she would send me updates with happy pictures every day. They always looked so happy with all the walks and belly rubs. Highly recommend! I will definitely be going back to her and dropping my other doggie daycare even with a 15 minute extra drive.”

About: I had a golden-lab for 6 years until we lost him to cancer earlier this year. My kiddos and I miss him a ton and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby until we are ready to get another dog of our own. I work fully from home so I have a lot of flexibility all week and any weekends we are home/available as well. I am confident your pet would have LOTS of love and attention! I have a nice fenced in yard and great neighborhood available for daily walks. We have a great safe space to care for your pet!
