I chose Janel based on her excellent reviews and the fact that she was conveniently located in DeepCreek/ McHenry, MD. I also loved that the dogs had full access to her home and even allowed on the furniture. Janel and her family welcomed my 50 pound female labradoodle with open arms as one of their own. I received photo's of My girl on walks and relaxing at the house which reassured me that she was in good hands. I previously used different company in the area and when picking up my dog she was very stressed and anxious. I assumed she may have been crated for some length of time. Not a good situation for an active 2 year old. She was the total opposite when I picked her up from Janel's home. Her tail was wagging and she was in good spirits. I am very pleased and feel fortunate to have found Janel and her family. About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.

About: I love animals and spoiling them is my game! I have 3 spoiled dogs. I have had my own personal animals for as long as I can remember. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I grew up on a farm and we took in rescues of any kind. I have been taking care of puppies and kittens on bottles to seniors with shots/meds at times my whole life. Each pet I look after is treated as my own. I'm working part-time at home. I have time for play, walks, and maybe just a fun ride for a pup cup. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs. I have 3 friendly dogs, 2 small (8 lbs) /1 med (25 lbs). I have crates of different sizes, harnesses and leads, and collars if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and I love to play with them and take them to the park and play fetch and run with them and have them happy. About: Dogs love me, and yours will too. Comfort, play, walks, and stays, care for your fluffy friend when you can't be there. Best with small to medium dogs in my location. Available for any size dog for walks, visits or off site stays. Additional experience with nervous and easily stressed, or startled dogs, always willing to make them feel safe, sitting with them and more. Long term experience with lots of different breeds and sizes, from large to miniature and anywhere between. Porch has two steps. I can change my schedule to accommodate some requests. I have a house with small dog that loves to make friends with any social dog, however can always be separated if it's an issue. I can provide my own leash, bags, collar and more just ask. Prefer boarding here, but can make arrangements for other requirments. I need some advanced notice, although some same day requests may be possible to handle. I have an unfenced yard, however walks are easy around the house or around the neighborhood. Lots of attention avaliable. We have a male mini-dachshund in out home who is a senior, but shares well with others

About: My entire life, I have had a dog. Whether it be a hunting dog (well, my dad had those), or an indoor dog, I have always been around them. I currently have an English Mastiff named Roxi, a Shih-tzu/Yorkie mix named Bella, and a mixed breed I rescued named Brutus! I love them more than anything!! My dogs also love it because they love having friends over! :) I strive to give them the best life and always keep them up to date at the vet and groomer. I will not hesitate to make a vet trip if I sense that something is wrong. My two year old twins also love dogs, so that makes it fun for everyone! I am home every day, all day! I work as an on call nurse every other week, so then my husband is home to puppy sit! We love our dogs more than some people love their kids, haha! Our dogs have every necessity they need to live a happy life! Our dogs are allowed to sleep with us and on the couch, and when they are not on the couch they are on their very expensive beds! :) We treat them better than family! Our dogs get to go outside frequently to play, as well as relaxing on our gated back porch. We do go for walks, but our big girl, Roxi the mastiff, has some hip tenderness so she isn't as active as she used to be!
