About: I have been caring for dogs since 2016. I have experience with high maintenance dogs that require special medications and help going potty outside. I have time to play, snuggle, and take dogs for hikes. I have experience potty training animals and have been successful potty training several seniors. I prefer small to medium sized dogs, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. They must be okay with small dogs, as I have two Chihuahuas of my own. I allow my dogs on the bed, but if you prefer your dog not be on the bed, that can be arranged. I currently don't work and therefore can spend most of my time with the animals, aside from my regular chores, like cleaning house and shopping. My home doesn't have a fence so your dog will be on a leash when outside at all times, including when we hike. Length of hikes will be based on your dog's endurance level. I always carry plenty of water. I am very attentive to animal language and watch for behaviors like heavy breathing, excessive panting, lip licking, excessive yawning, or other obvious signs of distress such as limping or lethargy. I watch for these behaviors during all activities, even if we are simply relaxing. When we set up an appointment, I will want to know what to do during an emergency, beyond calling you. I will want their vaccine status, as I will only accept vaccinated dogs unless they are too young. I will also want to know how often they hike and for what distance. If they are crate trained, I will need their crate. We can work out the details, depending on your dog's needs. I am very flexible and I want to do what is right for you and your dog.

About: Hello Everyone! Our names are Nicole and Cody. Nicole has been surrounded by and caring for animals since she can remember! She used to work at a zoo for 6 years before her time in the military. We both grew up with dogs and cats ever since we could walk. She has volunteered at professional dog shows and helped train K-9 dogs for search and rescue. We both find ourselves preferring to be surrounded by animals if given the option! We are both retired from the Navy and doing what we love full time now! We also like to offer grooming if you choose to stay with us! Rates will vary depending on size and what you are wanting done. We do have a doodle of our own and can provide photos of previous cuts we have done! Please remember we are not professional groomers though! We would love to help if needing anything from just nails trimmed to a bath or a haircut or all of the above! I hope that you all will give us a chance to pet sit for you. For house sitting requests we would ideally like to service all of Whidbey Island! With two of us we do really well balanacing out the boarding and house sittings as we receive them! Any requests off island we are open to discussing but will be a little more difficult depending on dates! The service area map on this app does not do very well on letting me select a specific area so I just wanted to clear that up for anyone!

About: Hi, we are Amy and Brandon! About us: We’ve both grown up taking care of a multitude of animals, but mostly cats and dogs. Our pets are our world, and we love giving them the lives they deserve. We would be honored to be able to give your pets that same treatment. About our place: we have a three bedroom house with a fenced in yard. This gives us plenty of room for play, snuggles, and space if we have any dogs that may feel anxious or overwhelmed. We live in a quiet neighborhood with many routes that are great for walks, as well. About the experience: We know it can be stressful for owners and for their pets when going to a new place. Therefore, we would love to hear about your pet’s personality, routines, likes, dislikes, and anything else you may want to share to make this the most comfortable and fun experience! Usually one or both of us will be home but if we ever leave the house our two dogs are crate trained and we encourage bringing a crate if you have one. If not, we have doggy gates we can arrange to keep everyone separate. But, like I said, we’re normally home! Our pets are great about only eating out of their bowls but we still separate your pets while eating to avoid any possible food aggression and prevent them from eating a type of food that may upset their tummies/keep them with what they’re familiar with. We always have plenty of toys and treats (if allowed) to keep your pets feeling happy and loved! We also enjoy sending picture/video updates to give peace of mind if interested! About our family: if you’ve made it this far, we’d love to introduce our pets! We have two dogs. Tucker: our 7-year-old terrier mix. His ideal day would involve endless snuggles, belly rubs, and snacks. Sadie: our 3-year-old golden doodle. She is full of kisses and could play all day long and never need a break. We also have two cats. Boo: our 7-year-old black medium hair. She gets her zoomies at night and spends the day recharging on the couch. Yas: our 5-year-old tabby cat, doesn’t ever get the zoomies but still spends her days recharging in our bedroom.
