About: Hello! I'm Chelsie, and my buddy boy is Captain! I live in Juneau and work out of town every other month and bring Captain with me. When I'm in Juneau, we enjoy hiking and walking on the beach. Captain is very friendly with both people and dogs and is always up for cuddles and/or adventures! When I'm in Juneau (every other month), I do some work from home but am flexible. I am available to house pets at my house with my dog. I prefer to keep pets in my home if they need overnight care. I own my home and have 1.4 acres. I do have neighbors but they are not very close and I'm at the end of a dead end road out of town.

About: I’ve grown up in Juneau and family pets have always been a part of my life. I previously volunteered at the humane society walking dogs and playing with cats. I’m currently working part time downtown And can do pet care at any time around my work schedule. It usually consists of afternoons and evenings. My work schedule changes weekly. I have reliable transportation that can take pets to trails or parks for hikes or other activities. I will do my best to ensure your energetic pets have an active outlet for their energy. I can stay nights and will ensure all pets are fed and watered.

“Edwina kindly checked in with our kitty while we were away for several days. We were nervous to leave him, but he was clearly left in good hands. Thankful for Edwina’s flexibility, reliability, communication, and love for animals. Would gladly request her services again!”

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician with extensive medical experience working with domestic and exotic animals. I am a true dog lover and I enjoy connecting with and getting to know their individual personalities. I have been pet sitting for neighbors, friends, family, and co-workers since I was a teenager and still love it. I am happy and skilled at giving at home medical treatments if needed including giving medications of all routes, fluids, assist feeding, and physical therapy. I have a keen sense of detail which makes me good at noticing small changes in animal behavior and health changes, so when your pet is in my care you can find comfort in knowing that their health and safety are in good hands. I am also trained in emergency response and CPR. I have a 6 year old mix named Juniper who is in good health and loves to spend time with other dogs of all ages and sizes. If the owner needs an evening walk/feed on the day of their return (sitting in your home) then I will add an extra day to our booking appointment for that full day of care. Unfortunately due to allergies, I am unable to care for cats. I am able to give shorts walks during the afternoon while I'm on my lunch break from work. And I always give a longer walk in the evening if your pet is up for it. I am currently unable to board any pets in my home. I may open up this option in the future for well trained pets who get along with my dog.

About: I raised a dog from 2018 to 2025. Train it to learn to shake hands, pick up frisbee, pick up balls, play games and various skills. I'm free from Monday to Wednesday. And the weekend night. My means of transportation is the bus Or you can give me a ride if you can. If necessary, you can do skill training. If not, you can accompany them to play some games and feed them and put them to sleep.

About: I love animals! I am able to walk far distances and care for specific needs. I have a cat of my own and can drive to your house. I am currently working as a barista downtown and own a car. I am able to drive to your location no matter the day and feed/ care for your animal. I am not able to house pets at my own house but feel absolutely fine going to your location. I am able to spend overnights there as well.

“We were very comfortable having Ashley stop by to check in on our cat. She kept us up to date on her visits and sent lots of photos. We would definitely hire her again!”

About: I have taken care of pups of all ages and sizes! Love them all!! Know how to keep them safe and love giving them plenty of exercise and pets! Have also cared for pets requiring medication and extra needs. I am a nurse and currently work 8-5 Monday through Friday with an hour off in the middle of the day. Can take your pup on a walk in the morning, out for a little mid day break, and then on a longer stroll/play after work. Weekends I’m able to take your pupper on longer hikes and adventures! I live with two cats, so having your pet stay with me would depend on how they all get along. I am happy to take care of your pets in their own space though! This also helps to maintain their normal routine and minimize stress and anxiety for your pets. I follow the feeding and exercise schedule provided by the owner, ensuring the pets receive the same level of care and attention they are accustomed to. I offer walks, hikes, and playtime, particularly for active breeds, to keep them healthy and happy. I also provide companionship, giving pets plenty of affection and attention. For extended care, I stay overnight if needed, ensuring the pets are safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Regardless of the setting, my priority is to ensure each pet feels loved, secure, and well-cared-for. My experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals enable me to offer top-notch care tailored to each pet's needs.
