“Christy was great. Our Dax really enjoyed his stay with her. I highly recommend her. She was very good at keeping us updated through the time we were gone. She was great!!!”

“Emma was great. I have a large lab that can be rambunctious. Emma was able to deal with him while watching someone else's dog at the same time. I was greatly impressed with her flexibility, communication, and ability to adapt to the dynamics of taking care of two large dogs simultaneously.”

“Bug clearly enjoyed his stay with Brooke (3 nights)! I really appreciated her quick communication and flexibility in setting up alternative plans when severe weather and a flight delay juggled plans. She also helped me navigate working with the app and made sure things were billed correctly. In other words, she was easy to work with and provided great customer service.”

“Katie is great, communicates very well always letting you know what’s going on, the photos she provided while we were away were so helpful when being away from our cat. Thanks again Katie you are very much appreciated!!”
“I’m so glad to have found Mary! Very reliable and great with my cats. I love getting all of her updates and pictures. It’s been such a relief to have her as a pet sitter when I’m out of town.”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends’ cats for years, and enjoy getting to know each cats personality. I’ve cared for a senior cat most recently, and administered his medications to make sure he stayed healthy and happy. I even lived with my roommates cat for a semester, and had the privilege of caring for him while his mom was away :)

About: I’ve taken care of cats on and off since High School. I can take care of any age of cat and I know no two cats are the same. I love getting to know each one’s little personality and I can’t wait to meet your cats! My dad also just adopted a kitten (the same one in my profile) and I have loved getting to know him and hangout.
About: There has never been a time in my life without a dog being a part of it. They are my loves. I have worked at a small shelter in Florida with an average of 30 dogs in my care. I have also volunteered with the Denali National Park kennels where I provided one-on-one care to a member of their sled dog team. From puppies to seniors I can adjust to whatever their needs and activity levels. I have a full time job and can provide care in the afternoons. If full time care is needed and far enough in advance notice is given, my work is flexible with time off. Just communicate to me what your pet's daily routine requires and what their daily needs are and I will happily oblige. No request is too outlandish as my own pup has her own long list of needs.
“I cannot say enough good things about Erika. We had a last minute trip and needed someone to watch our fur babies. After talking to a friend back home, she suggested I check Rover. I did and Erika agreed to watch our pups. We had some issues as far as distance and changed the reservation to have my pups stay with her. When we dropped them off she was super friendly and asked all the pertinent information for our pups. While away, we got lots of pictures of our pups having fun and getting some energy out. I felt like she treated my pups with love, care and as if she were caring for her own pups. Cannot recommend her enough!”

About: My mom is a lover of dogs, so naturally, growing up with at least 10 at a time, I became a dog lover too. Our dogs ranged from 100 lbs to 5 lbs, and as you can imagine, each with very unique personalities. Taking care of animals is second nature to me. I also had the pleasure of owning multiple cats, birds, bunnies and yes, even ducks! I have a lot of energy & love to excersize, so going to the park, on a walk, a run or to the beach is something I sincerely enjoy doing :) Unfortunately, as per my renters lease, I cannot allow animals into my home but will be happy to walk/care for and/or animal sit at your home! I work seasonal (summer job), and have all the time for animal care in the winter! I can accommodate any schedule that your animal is used to. I prefer a meet and greet prior, so that I can fully understand and run through your schedule with your pet/pets. I believe it is important to maintain that schedule for them while you are away.

“Very grateful to Christy for opening up her home to Rio so he could have some company during my workday. She did an excellent job of keeping him calm and happy! Christy communicated well and sent me great pics too. We look forward to coming back again soon.”

About: I’ve had many dogs ever since I could remember growing up. I would be the perfect candidate because I am reliable, active, and a total animal lover. I have two dogs, one being an Australian Shepard, which is an extremely attention-seeking breed. I am very active with her. I am completely tolerant with all breeds of dogs and have lots of experience with different breeds as well. I have an unbooked, chill summer. I’m available practically all the time, all hours of the day. I would also be good for long house sitting time periods if needed. I would treat your home and pets with the utmost respect. I will follow all your rules and any special instructions you have for your home and pets.
About: I have taken care of many animals throughout my life including dogs, cats, birds, horses and fish. With a very flexible schedule I can offer lots of attention, walks and potty breaks. Also, this allows me to do frequent drop-ins if you would like your pet to stay at home. Sapulpa, my 14 yr. old, deaf mini-schnauzer, loves meeting new friends! She’s definitely in her grandma years so she loves sleeping more than playing these days, but somehow finds the energy to play with any new friends. I have an awesome stay at home job that allows drop-in visits, walks, and doggie daycare. I can also watch your pet(s) overnight in the comfort of my home. Frequent potty breaks, walks, play time, rest time, etc. I can take your pet on long walks or short walks based on the pets needs.

About: Hi there! I’m available for dog walking, house sitting and drop-ins. My experience- I have been around dogs my whole life and have worked in pet care for many years- I have been taking care of dogs on Rover since 2019; I worked at a doggy day care (Camp Bow Wow); I fostered shelter dogs; have pet sat for friends and family; and have taken care of my family dogs. I have experience with dogs as young as one year old with lots of energy to seniors with disabilities. I love dogs- I believe they deserve the best lives possible and I want to help you out, too! I’m available much of the week until mid-June, then not sure, and my weekend schedule varies. Feel free to message me and we can see if our schedules align! I provide lots of attention, care and fun! I will always keep you updated on how your poochie is doing and of course contact you if there are any issues.
About: I have had dogs for 25+ years and have cared for numerous family and friends' dogs throughout the years as well. My family and I have always enjoyed having dogs around! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which means I will have lots of time to play with your adorable fur children! I do have to drop off and pick up my oldest from school M-F, but we are usually only away from the house for 10-15 minutes total. Since I am a stay-at-home mom, I am able to go on daily walks, multiple times throughout the day. We also have a 7 year old and a 1 year old, both who absolutely adore dogs of all breeds. My husband is also a dog lover and will help in giving extra snuggles, walks and play time!

“Gentry and her family do a wonderful job of looking after my puppy "Newton" when i am otherwise occupied. They make sure he gets all the exercise and socialization a puppy could ever want and when i bring him home at the end of the day, he is usually so tuckered out its like he's on his best behavior! They spend the day playing with him, working on his commands and have been doing a stellar job of getting him used to walking on leash. They feed him his meals and make sure he can have naps when he gets tired. Initially i was a little worried bringing my brand new pup to a stranger during the day, but Gentry is so friendly and obviously skilled/experienced with puppies that they alleviated my worries before even the first meetup. I was concerned with him being in the "nippy" phase, that he could be problematic, but they have handled him excellently. Thank you Gentry and your family for the awesome dog care! I will defiantly be bringing newt back to you whenever he needs dog sitting!”

About: I learned dog training from a book by The Monks of New Skeet. I have had dogs since I was a child and have been a volunteer at Anchorage animal shelter and Hawaii Humane Society, Waimea. I have also done dog sitting on a regular basis for five dogs in Anchorage. I am retired and enjoy taking doggies for lots of walks. I enjoy their company and treat them with lots of love. I am home most days with the exception of appointments and errands. I have access to an ideal dog walking area behind my residence. I love dogs and give them free access to my dwelling. I love playing with dogs and can easily walk them down to Sandy Beach to play ball, frisbee or whatever.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life! I’ve lived in Alaska for 3 years now and with my 2 year old lab, Hobbes. I’m very active and outdoorsy person who understands the juggles of work and making sure you pet is cared for! Happy to follow whatever routine you and your pet have or any other pet care requests! My works hours fluctuate a lot during the week and weekend. I am off during the day on some days and working nights other days. I sometimes work weekends. So I’ll be very open and upfront if my schedule doesn’t align with your pet’s care routine! I am huge on meeting you and your pet prior to beginning services to ensure you and your pet are comfortable with me prior to drop-ins or walks! I am happy to bring my dog, Hobbes, or leave him at home. My top goal is to be flexible to whatever your pet’s needs are to ensure you and your pet feel safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve lived with dogs for 15 years and love spending time with and caring for them. I’ve had 3 puppies at once and cared for a senior dog for years! I currently have no in-person obligations, so I am free every day any time of the week to be there for your pets, early mornings and late nights! I am able to care for your pets in your home, and I have trustworthy transportation to safely take them on adventures (if you’d like!).
About: For nearly 20 years, I’ve lovingly cared for my own pets and friends’ animals, providing them with feeding, walks, meds, playtime, and lots of reliable care. I currently work remotely and set my own schedule, which allows me to provide cat sitting during regular business hours (evening visits are typically okay as well), seven days a week. I’m flexible when needed, within reason. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I don’t offer care in my own residence because I have two cats who don’t mix well with other pets. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, while keeping their space clean and stress-free.
About: Hello! I'm Chelsie, and my buddy boy is Captain! I live in Juneau and work out of town every other month and bring Captain with me. When I'm in Juneau, we enjoy hiking and walking on the beach. Captain is very friendly with both people and dogs and is always up for cuddles and/or adventures! When I'm in Juneau (every other month), I do some work from home but am flexible. I am available to house pets at my house with my dog. I prefer to keep pets in my home if they need overnight care. I own my home and have 1.4 acres. I do have neighbors but they are not very close and I'm at the end of a dead end road out of town.
About: I've had a dog my whole life and love caring for dogs for my friends. I also studied abroad and helped take care of all of my host dogs big and small. I am very responsible and will treat your dog like my own. I’ve taken care of cats on and off since High School. I can take care of any age of cat and I know no two cats are the same. I love getting to know each one’s little personality and I can’t wait to meet your cats! I am a college student that works part time but I am willing to care for your pets at your house in between my classes. Feel free to ask about my availability, some classes are flexible! I am a college student living on campus so I cannot accommodate animals at my dorm, but I am happy to come to your house and care for your pets there.
About: I’ve been around animals since I was very young. From dogs, to cats, to rats, to anything in between - I love all animals! Neighbors and friends, and family alike - have all relied on me to care for their fur babies. I have experience in older pets and younger pets, and also have administered medication, followed special diets, etc. Animals are no different than humans, and I personally treat my fur babies as such - MY BABIES. I would love to have the opportunity to love on your fur child, too! I’m picky about who gets to have my pets when I’m away, so I want to ensure you will have peace of mind when your pets are with me! I currently work full-time, but I am flexible during the week. I am a state employee, so I am off on all holidays, as well. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats in my home. Our yard is large and is fenced, allowing for lots of outdoor exercise. I am situated in a nice neighborhood with access to many trails. I will ensure your furry friend gets all the attention they need! I allow my pets to be free roaming and allow them to sleep in bed with us at night but can accommodate any needs you may have. We are active adults (more in the summer than the winter), however; if your furry friend is more laid back, we have no issue doing that, too. *I disinfect and sanitize my home daily with a steam mop using high temperature steam to ensure your pets (and mine!) coexist in a clean environment, free of germs (but not dirt! 😉) Beginning Jan. 1 2023, I will be integrating meet & greet checklists for all *new* clients to fill out. This will allow me to know all the important information about your furry friend, including emergency contact info, yours (the owner) and a secondary, Veterinary information, allergies, feeding schedule and more!
About: I’ve owned pets all my life. From cats, dogs, rats, fish, chameleons and snakes, I love them all! I’m heavily trusted by friends and family whenever they need care for their animals. We also love a long walk in this alaskan rainforest. Looking forward to meeting your fur baby! I have a pretty light work schedule until summertime rolls in, so I have lots of time to walk and play! I’m available for play dates, drop ins, and walks most days depending on the time. Currently Thursdays and Fridays are completely open. I have a lovely humble one bedroom apartment downtown. My 9 year old Shepard mix lives here with me. We go on long walks on the flume and perseverance trail, and visit the dog park and beach for swimming. I love taking dogs out on adventures and getting them tired! There’s nothing that makes me happier than being out with them.
“Lisa is phenomenal. There’s not enough words to describe my appreciation for her! Miss Sadie has a great time on all of their adventures, and we’re incredibly grateful for all she does!”
