About: I love animals. I grew up around dogs and cats and learned from an early age how to take care of them! I’m super excited to take care of your pet! I am a college student and I miss being around my dogs but I can’t commit to adopting one right now so the next best thing is to take care of your pet! I will take care of my pet like my own! I am currently not working and have flexible availability, let me know what your pets schedule is and I should be available most of the day! I can take your pet out on a lash when going outside to make sure we’re safe! I will make sure your home is taken care of and everything is done according to the clients instructions
“Gentry and her family do a wonderful job of looking after my puppy "Newton" when i am otherwise occupied. They make sure he gets all the exercise and socialization a puppy could ever want and when i bring him home at the end of the day, he is usually so tuckered out its like he's on his best behavior! They spend the day playing with him, working on his commands and have been doing a stellar job of getting him used to walking on leash. They feed him his meals and make sure he can have naps when he gets tired. Initially i was a little worried bringing my brand new pup to a stranger during the day, but Gentry is so friendly and obviously skilled/experienced with puppies that they alleviated my worries before even the first meetup. I was concerned with him being in the "nippy" phase, that he could be problematic, but they have handled him excellently. Thank you Gentry and your family for the awesome dog care! I will defiantly be bringing newt back to you whenever he needs dog sitting!”

About: I learned dog training from a book by The Monks of New Skeet. I have had dogs since I was a child and have been a volunteer at Anchorage animal shelter and Hawaii Humane Society, Waimea. I have also done dog sitting on a regular basis for five dogs in Anchorage. I am retired and enjoy taking doggies for lots of walks. I enjoy their company and treat them with lots of love. I am home most days with the exception of appointments and errands. I have access to an ideal dog walking area behind my residence. I love dogs and give them free access to my dwelling. I love playing with dogs and can easily walk them down to Sandy Beach to play ball, frisbee or whatever.

I know when my dogs and home are in Sharon's care, that they are in good hands and I have no need to be concerned for their well being. Sharon loves on them, babies them and provides excellent dog care and my dogs consider her a part of the pack. In fact, my girl Shelby decided to have puppies while Sharon was dog sitting and Shelby and all the puppies came through and eventually moved on to provide lots of love to their new guardians and Sharon provided this basis for their good life. She even ended up with one of the puppies and named her Dot and gave her a loving home and an amazing strong bond between both of them, which was wonderful to see.
