“Mick did a great job taking care of our cat! Our kitty is very shy and doesn’t trust new people, but she seemed to warm up to Mick quickly. She kept the house clean and did a good job bringing in the mail and packages. We got daily updates and pictures, too!”

“I am so happy with Christy. She knew exactly what to do with a cat in a new environment. She was adept at keeping cats inside the house. And Kuma felt incredibly safe living with them. I would recommend and would use her if I ever have to leave a pet with someone again.”

About: I’ve grown up in Juneau and family pets have always been a part of my life. I previously volunteered at the humane society walking dogs and playing with cats. I’m currently working part time downtown And can do pet care at any time around my work schedule. It usually consists of afternoons and evenings. My work schedule changes weekly. I have reliable transportation that can take pets to trails or parks for hikes or other activities. I will do my best to ensure your energetic pets have an active outlet for their energy. I can stay nights and will ensure all pets are fed and watered.

About: I raised a dog from 2018 to 2025. Train it to learn to shake hands, pick up frisbee, pick up balls, play games and various skills. I'm free from Monday to Wednesday. And the weekend night. My means of transportation is the bus Or you can give me a ride if you can. If necessary, you can do skill training. If not, you can accompany them to play some games and feed them and put them to sleep.

About: I love animals! I am able to walk far distances and care for specific needs. I have a cat of my own and can drive to your house. I am currently working as a barista downtown and own a car. I am able to drive to your location no matter the day and feed/ care for your animal. I am not able to house pets at my own house but feel absolutely fine going to your location. I am able to spend overnights there as well.

About: I have tons of pet experience! I grew up my whole life with dogs and cats. I have volunteered at animal shelters. My family has fostered dogs for about 10 years. I worked at a doggie daycare and spa for 2 years. I have also personally rescued stray animals whenever I come across them. I am working full time, so I can be available after 5pm weekdays. However, I telework on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I’ll be home to take care of pups! I’m also available on weekends. I have a fenced yard and my sweet dog Lucy to keep your dog company! I also have a cat, but I am able to restrict him to the upstairs if your dog is not a cat person lol. Pets are allowed on the furniture unless specified otherwise.

About: There has never been a time in my life without a dog being a part of it. They are my loves. I have worked at a small shelter in Florida with an average of 30 dogs in my care. I have also volunteered with the Denali National Park kennels where I provided one-on-one care to a member of their sled dog team. From puppies to seniors I can adjust to whatever their needs and activity levels. I have a full time job and can provide care in the afternoons. If full time care is needed and far enough in advance notice is given, my work is flexible with time off. Just communicate to me what your pet's daily routine requires and what their daily needs are and I will happily oblige. No request is too outlandish as my own pup has her own long list of needs.

“Mary was so great! We did a meet and greet beforehand and I felt confident she would take great care of my pet! Every day she gave us an update and a few photos which was a huge plus! Would definitely recommend :)”

About: I have taken care of pups of all ages and sizes! Love them all!! Know how to keep them safe and love giving them plenty of exercise and pets! Have also cared for pets requiring medication and extra needs. I am a nurse and currently work 8-5 Monday through Friday with an hour off in the middle of the day. Can take your pup on a walk in the morning, out for a little mid day break, and then on a longer stroll/play after work. Weekends I’m able to take your pupper on longer hikes and adventures! I live with two cats, so having your pet stay with me would depend on how they all get along. I am happy to take care of your pets in their own space though! This also helps to maintain their normal routine and minimize stress and anxiety for your pets. I follow the feeding and exercise schedule provided by the owner, ensuring the pets receive the same level of care and attention they are accustomed to. I offer walks, hikes, and playtime, particularly for active breeds, to keep them healthy and happy. I also provide companionship, giving pets plenty of affection and attention. For extended care, I stay overnight if needed, ensuring the pets are safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Regardless of the setting, my priority is to ensure each pet feels loved, secure, and well-cared-for. My experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals enable me to offer top-notch care tailored to each pet's needs.

“Brooke took great care of my dog while we were out of town! She really went above and beyond in making sure he was well tended to. She was very professional and friendly, even when we had to troubleshoot an issue remotely (100% my fault, Brooke was great). I would definitely hire Brooke again if needed.”

“Jessica has a demeanor that is both soothing and comforting to animals. She possesses a unique range of experience with dogs; from exercising sled dogs in Alaska to being a walker and care giver to dogs at a rescue shelter in Florida. Libby A.
“Libby is an incredibly kind and responsible human. She brightens the day of everyone around her. Never one to let an opportunity to smile or appreciate the moment pass her by, she would be a fantastic dog-walker or dog-sitter. I have known her for 10 years and in that time she has shown herself to be a caring, punctual, and accountable friend and co-worker. Additionally, Libby loves everyone around her and will find the silver lining in situations or living things. She is a true optimist in every respect, and gives people the benefit of the doubt where others would take the easy road and move on. Libby is very passionate about everything she does. As a nurse she is an incredible caregiver. Not only does she solve the patient's medical problems, she also tends to the emotionally by making personal connections in order to make their time in the hospital more enjoyable. I cannot give Libby enough of a glowing recommendation and she would be an excellent companion to the furry friends of the Rover network.”
