“Yogi enjoyed his stay. I like that there are options. Dogs can stay in the house. But if they are more comfortable outside, she has a deck with access to a fenced in grass area. Good communication. No problems.”

“Walter and his family are amazing! We are new pet owners and they let us come over for a meet and greet prior to booking to help calm our nerves. Our puppy was excited to be there with his caring children. He would give us updates with pictures and videos throughout her stay. When our flight was delayed and diverted to another airport, Walter was gracious enough to have her stay one more day. Thank you for taking such great care of our girl! We look forward to working with you and your beautiful family again soon!”

“Once again, Cindy was the best! My dog was happy to see Cindy. She treats my dog like one of the family. She makes sure she’s fed, walked, and sends me pictures and a note. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Cindy is the best!!”

“Kalley was a fantastic pet sitter. She took such great care of my pup, and treated him as though he were one of their own. Highly, highly recommended if you are looking for a caring, positive environment for your pet while you are away. She sent pictures nearly every day with updates on how he was doing. Thank you Kalley! We will definitely reach out to you next time we have a need for pet sitting! ?”

“Bella is an amazing Pet Sitter and dog groomer! This is the first time anyone has ever kept my Pom so I was a little nervous. All those nerves were put to reset the moment we met and you assured me my puppy was in good hands. I appreciate all the messages and photos you sent. These are some of the best photos I have of my puppy! I will definitely book you again and recommend you to outer pet owners.”

“Alexsys has watched my dogs 3 times now and is the best dog sitter. My dogs love going over there and I love all the updates and pictures I get from her. As long as she is dog sitting and willing I will always use her!”

“Michelle was so incredibly wonderful, I honestly feel like I have hit the jackpot with finding her and her husband. My Griff was so happy he didn't even realize I was done. Hands down best experience I have had thus far! Will be a repeat customer!”
“Always have excellent care and communication with Beth! Rosy is right at home with them and we never have to worry about her while we’re away - best care for our pampered pup!”

“Heather was great! Kept me informed on how my dog Cody was doing and sent pics of him with her dogs. Cody seemed to love her Lab. Lots of room to run in her fenced in back yard. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I provide a clean, cozy, and loving home where pets can feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Our fully fenced backyard offers plenty of space for supervised play, exercise, and fresh air, while the indoors is a calm, comfortable environment with lots of attention and affection. We also have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy the company of other pets and help create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether your pet loves to play, explore, or simply relax, they’ll receive personalized care, plenty of love, and the attention they deserve throughout their stay. I’m a full time stay in home mom, who will be home most of the time to provide potty breaks and will be able to be close to pets. I have a fenced back yard. And all areas of my home are gated. Your dog will be kept in a comfortable free space. I can provide a more personal crate if required.
“Gabby was absolutely wonderful throughout our entire trip. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and communicated clearly from the moment we booked. She went above and beyond by sending us regular pictures and updates of our dog while we were on vacation, which gave us a lot of peace of mind and made us feel connected even while we were away. She was flexible, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care about our dog’s comfort and routine. Overall, the experience was excellent, and we truly appreciated everything she did to make the stay smooth and stress-free. We would gladly book with her again!”

“Allison was great with our boys! One of my dogs has a needy diet and Allison was more than willing to make the rice and provide for them with no questions asked! She sent us pictures throughout their stay and updated us when needed!”

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

“Seriously?! Lauren is SO GOOD that Koya ran back into her house after she gave me a *brief* tail wag and hello!!! I've been preparing myself for the day a decade (or more!) from now when my youngest daughter will likely be in love, marry and runaway...BUT I WAS NOT prepared for my 2 year old emotional support puppy to find a boyfriend (and a really handsome one at that - Leo!) and not want to come home! Lol!!! Lauren is the *BEST*!!! I absolutely would NOT want to leave Koya with anyone else!!”

“Whitney was incredible good with my little one. She took care of him very well when I was sick. And Tokyo had a great time with her dog Feather. She sent me lots of pictures and lmk all the time of how was my dog, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Whitney!!!”

“Always a great experience. My dog has anxiety being away from us and has trouble leaving our side when we have boarded him in the past but he loves trinity and her family and hops right out of the car and runs into their house like they are family.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
