I am so glad that she was willing to have Bonnie as the only dog in the house for the majority of the 2 weeks we were away. Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. About: I’ve always grown up around animals and had countless pets throughout my life! I love love love big dogs, but also every other critter I meet! I’ve dealt with puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and picky pets. I’m not scared of messes or hold grudges against pets that aren’t the biggest fans of other people. My goal is just to make sure your pet is comfortable! I’m currently a full-time college student working a few hours each week at the college, so I’m busy most mornings but never for more than a couple hours at a time. I’m usually very free on weekends and can make myself more available during the week if need be. My biggest concern is how comfortable your pet is! So, I’m all for doing whatever they want to do! If your pet loves going on walks, car rides, and outside adventures I’d be more than happy to do so. On the other hand, I’ve dealt with some reactive and picky pets in the past and we still figure out how to have a good time without crossing any boundaries your pet might have. Since I’m in school right now, I am not able to house a dog for sitting. I don’t mind pets with strict diets, exercise routines, medications, or anything of the sort and will make sure they get the care they need.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size since I was born. I was an infant cuddling with our massive doberman! My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. I also ran on Harrisonburg Rescue Squad as an EMT for about 2 years, which has taught me excellent hard and soft skills in the case of an emergency. I’m working part time right now, so I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your lovely pooches (or other animals)! I mostly work nights on the weekends, but am able to adapt my schedule, if needed. :) I absolutely respect a given owner’s rules for their pets. In my own home, we raised our pit bull to listen and be intentional, and he is an amazing boy. In my client’s homes, I will treat their animals with the utmost respect, while enforcing the necessary house rules. I can promise you that I will treat your pet(s) like my own and give them the love they deserve!
