The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet in my day and I can even stay with your pet for the day while taking my classes with them sitting by my side. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

About: Hi! I have 5 years of animal care experience, two years in the shelter setting and on my 3rd year in a veterinary care. I also volunteer with a canine rescue. I am currently working full time but am available before / after my work shifts and available for overnight care in your home or mine. About: I love dogs and can't wait to take care of your furry friend! I have a large home, plenty of room for your dog to stretch out. I have a yellow lab/golden retriever mix who is very friendly. I have a fenced yard (about half an acre) and another 9 acres of unfenced area. I work from home during the week, so will have plenty of time for walks, play-time, etc. I am good with all ages/sizes. I will ensure your dog is comfortable and safe, and has plenty of attention! I work from home so am always around to care for your pets! Will have plenty of potty breaks and play time. “If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

I've been preparing myself for the day a decade (or more!) from now when my youngest daughter will likely be in love, marry and runaway...BUT I WAS NOT prepared for my 2 year old emotional support puppy to find a boyfriend (and a really handsome one at that - Leo!) and not want to come home! About: I’ve had two dogs over the past 10 years that I have assisted in taking care of at my home. My families second dog passed away recently and the house is now empty of pets. As a dog-loving individual I would love to be able to watch over others’ pets and provide the proper care for them. I’m currently in the process of working part time with the city of Winchester’s summer camp for kids. I would be working during the week days and off all weekends. I have a large yard in a subdivided neighborhood that is great for taking walks. My home currently doesn’t have any pets living there. There are plenty of dog beds and furniture that is acceptable for pets to relax and sleep on. It is a three story home with 2 sets of stairs in it.

About: hello future clients, Dogs have always captured my heart, even before I could walk! My family raised a variety of dog breeds throughout my childhood, and as soon as I started high school, I got my own furry friend! I'm glad to make new doggo pals and often watch dogs for families and friends in the DMV region while they're away! My schedule is fully flexible because I work from home as my own business owner! I would be pleased to pay your fur baby a visit whenever it works best for their schedule. Also, I have a puppers of my own. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood, with walking trails and dog parks. where your dog can run, make friends and play in a safe controlled environment. I will happy send you picture and video updates of your sweet doggo! I also am happy to play with them using their favorite toys and don't mind spending extra time for snuggle sessions and give them treats while I'm there!
