We Had to find a sitter for her due to a death in the family forcing us to travel out of town for several days. I was very afraid she would be traumatized and maybe not recover, as she’s old and has a cardiac condition. She Refused to leave her carrier when I dropped her off, boding ill. BUT! Chelsea & Derek provided photos of Chelsea actually Holding her and said she even sorta got along with one of their cats. I didn’t think either was even possible. I don’t know How they accomplished That, some kinda magic maybe but this young, very pleasant and personable couple Obviously loves and has a way with animals. Their lovely home is set up perfectly for both cats and dogs, with lots of room and privacy options. We will Only use them from now on and I feel Very comfortable leaving my beloved Durga with them again. As an added, wonderful bonus, they are neighbors!, just a couple minutes from our home. Thank you Chelsea and Derek!!”

They set up a meet and greet so we were able to meet them, and their dog, before his stay. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times, excellent communication through his stay, gave him medication as requested, and did everything possible to make it a great experience overall. I’m getting ready to book Coopers will definitely be staying with them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: We've had 2 dogs who have unfortunately left us. Mickey was an 80 pound pit bull that I did everything with - walking, running, hiking,sleeping, traveling. I still miss him every day. One year after his passing we adopted a senior (9 yo) pit bull mix, Bella. Shortly after adopting Bella she was found to have heartworm. We were able to nurse her through the treatments back to health. Bella was a lazy girl who didn't have the energy level Mickey did but she was sweet and we spoiled her the 2 years we had her. I miss having a dog but my wife said "no more." Providing a service through Rover will help me get my "dog fix." Although I have used to pronoun "we" in my pet care experience that refers to our past 2 dogs. Going forward I will be the sole provider. I am retired so I have all kinds of free time to provide daily walks and the option for having overnight stays in our home. We have had dogs for 13 or so years and I am very capable in providing the care and attention to safely provide for them.

“I can’t think of a better person to care for a pet than Bill. He is patient and loving with the pets that he had. He had a couple of dogs that died of old age and cared from them right till the end as though they were his dearest friends. He would regularly walk them multiple times per day and nurse them when they were ill. His most recent dog was an elderly dog that he got from a shelter. The dog was not in good health yet he cared from the and gave him a loving, safe place to live out his last few years. Bill would make a great pet caregiver.”
