I can keep pets separated if needed, follow your pet’s routine, and provide regular updates with photos so you know they’re happy and well cared for.

While in high school I attended a small animal science program for 2 years and we had our own grooming business running for dogs. In the program I worked with the smallest dogs to the largest canines; walked them, bathed them and groomed them. I love walking dogs and will make sure your dog gets a great walk. This is a full time job for me as it brings me immense happiness! I also have experience with most small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, bearded dragons, rats, gerbils and mice from my time in small animal science in school. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I have owned animals my entire life from cats, lizards to dogs and horses. I worked at a kennel in my high school years taking care of dogs and assisting the owner in grooming. Going on from that I worked in a dog daycare alongside a fear free trainer whilst training my own dog, Lacey who is now 7, doing agility, obedience and other extensive training. Upon graduating I was given the opportunity to train and work alongside a groomer in her own shop, while I did my time with her we also attended groom expo where I took numerous classes including fear free grooming, control and handling, and creative grooming. Due to back issues I stepped away from the grooming scene and into ridding horses. I wonder my own horse for several years, I took a job opportunity with Letchworth Farms caring for both world class eventing horses as well as our trail horses. My time was ended there after a few years due to me becoming a mother to two beautiful kids and from time to time I have worked alongside a local cat shelter assisting in rescues and fostering and also helping foster and rescue dogs from time to time. I also have experience with caring for senior dogs with special needs. I have a very flexible working schedule to be able to accommodate your needs and your dogs at any time! I also am currently enrolled in Animal behavior and Canine training, a knowledgeable care giver is a great one! I am here for all your pet needs! I have one friendly cat who is vaccinated, fixed and is acclimated with dogs extremely well. About: I have had Bruno since he was 4 months old, the first year was in and out of vets, I finally figured out he had pretty bad allergies since started allergies pills and making his food from scratch he is living his best life. About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I love to take my dog on walks at the beach and play in the yard with him. I am attentive to any reactions they might have to their surroundings as well. About: UPDATE: looking for new clients in our neighborhood in Holland! About me: I grew up always with dogs and cats. I currently have cats and a german shepherd dog! While in high school I attended a small animal science program for 2 years and we had our own grooming business running for dogs. In the program I worked with the smallest dogs to the largest canines; walked them, bathed them and groomed them. I love walking dogs and will make sure your dog gets a great walk. This is a full time job for me as it brings me immense happiness! They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy.
