“James was awesome! We have 2 young standard poodles who are with us 100% of the time. Haha big mistake! James was our first attempt at a sitter and the boys fell in love with him immediately. His focus was completely on the boys and their needs. How are they at walking? Do they argue when they wrestling? When were they last out? Can I take them out? Snacks? Water? Anything special they need or want? He took them out for a BIG walk before bedtime and they were pooped out when we got home. About: I have had the chance working with many cats and dogs. I have taken care of a number of my neighbors pets, ranging from daily check-ins to staying overnight. I have also had the chance working with my own pets, I have three dogs (Who I currently am not living with since I am housed on campus), the oldest is a 13 year old golden retriever and the youngest is from a litter of pups I fostered. I love working with animals, I believe that they all deserve to have happy homes, and even more so safe caretaker! I have classes in the morning but after that my schedule is very flexible. I volunteer at the local animal shelter but that on average is only two hours per-shift. I am always willing to work around my schedule to help you with your pets! I currently only do day check-ins and walks, but I fortunately, have had the chance to work with many reactive animals. I understand the stress that they may be going through at the moment and have many tactics to deal with that, including removing them from the situation to distraction. I understand the safety, well being, and happiness of your pet is extremely important to you. And it is extremely important to me too, i’m always willing to work with you to make a safe space for your pet!

About: I offer in-house visits, walking and play time dog sitting. I am recently retired and so often available. You tell me - and I will walk, play, run, toss balls, train and cuddle with your pet so they have fun and feel safe. I follow any specific directions 100%, as I know you know your pet best. I have never met a dog I didn't love: puppies, seniors, special needs and all other. I am a retired professional and can be available almost any time. I have a lot of energy and love long walks, long talks and cuddle time. Happy to take your dog on extended trips, if that is your desire. I can play with your pet at your home, at the dog park or we can go for long drives and walks. I think smiles and scratches and attention are most important so that your pet feels happy while you are away.

About: I've had multiple pets growing up and as an adult, owned my own pet the last 12 years. I've been through different training sessions throughout the years with other pet sitters and pet owners. My family and I just adore pets especially dogs and the kids enjoy taking care of them and playing with them. We love to walk to the park nearby or walk around our beautiful dog friendly neighborhood. I am currently home full-time taking care of our three children who attend the nearby elementary school. I also take care of our own pet who is 12 years old and loves to play with other dogs. We love to go for walks 2-3 times a day and weather permitting, we love to play in our huge backyard. We have plenty of space outdoors for the dogs to roam around. Indoors we also have space for the pets to walk around. If overnight, there is a designated space and I can crate if crate trained.

I raised a Bernweiler from puppyhood through his senior years, and I currently have a 2.5 yo Swiss Mountain Dog named Brewer. I’m very comfortable with all breeds. Whether your dog is big or small, full of energy or more mellow, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I have experience with raw feeding routines, administering medication, and supporting dogs of all ages and needs—from playful puppies to sweet seniors. While I do have a dog of my own, my partner is incredibly hands-on and helps care for Brewer while I’m pet sitting, so your dog always has my full attention. Dogs are a huge part of my life and my home. I’d love to care for yours like one of my own! I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. Your pup will never be short on attention! I live with my boyfriend and he is able to watch our Swissy while I take on clients. I am happy to introduce them as well if you are open to having your dog around another sweet puppy. I prefer to stay in the clients home as our place is not quite big enough for multiple pets.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their dogs. I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible. I like to go on walks in the morning and the evenings, especially in Round Valley and glGlenwild. I’d pick up your dog, take it for a walk or hike. I’d wipe it’s paws upon returning, give it water and food and medicine if needed.
