“Bobbi is very kind and calm. It’s very obvious that she loves animals and cares about their wellbeing. My puppy Abby had a great sleepover and she adjusted nicely to Bobbi and her home. We have already booked Abby’s next stay. I highly recommend boarding with Bobbi!”

“Ian did a fantastic job keeping our Great Dane while we were out of town for a week. If I could give 6 stars I would. We were skeptical about leaving her with anyone, until we met Ian and his family. 10 out of 10, we definitely recommend.”

“Julie took amazing care of my dog while I was on vacation. She sent pictures and updates everyday. She took care of my baby as if she were her own. I felt comfortable going out of town and leaving my baby with Julie. I know she was well taken care of and played just as hard. Will definitely recommend Julie to anyone looking for a dog sitter and will use her again in the future.”

“Boone enjoys his stay with Ms. Lori. She follows our rules but also is so helpful in helping him learn and be a good boy. She plays with him and even provided special treats. This is his second stay and will book again when we take another trip. Ms Lori is so sweet and amazing.”

“Erica was amazing! She kindly took on Bruce with no complaints even though he was a puppy. She kept me updated everyday and sent numerous photos for me to view which helped us stress less about leaving Bruce after just welcoming him into our family not too long ago. Erica is well prepped with toys, snacks, and play areas for any cat or dog and I highly recommend her for your pup or kitty!”

“Jennifer & her family have been amazing with looking after our girl Yara, and making her feel right at home in their house. She has been flexible with drop off & pick up times, and also keeping us well informed with pics and videos. She has also been accommodating to our dog’s particular behavior needs (food aggression) and adjusted so everyone stays safe and comfortable! We already have more dates on the calendar with her and will be booking more!”

“Zorro's time with Sarah was incredible! He had a wonderful time. She was very conscientious to make him feel loved and comfortable. Sarah knew this was his first experience with a new sitter and sent pictures and videos to show how happy and content he was. His appetite was good and he slept well through each night. I highly recommend Sarah and will schedule with her again when needed.”

About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.
“Sarah responded quickly and concisely, was pleasant, and took great care of my dog. I almost felt bad taking the dog away from her 4 year old kid. Will book with Sarah again if she is available next time I need a dog sitter.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
