About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. I want your pet to feel comfortable & loved by me.

About: Most of my experience has been from pets of family and friends. I have the upmost respect for animals and love to interact with them as they allow. I have some experiences with special care like food preparation and giving medications, just give some instructions and count on it being done. In my younger years I’ve had experience with caring for birds, although it’s been some time since then, I am fully capable. Hugs and pets are part of my services but only if your animal allows. Currently, I have a flexible schedule and my calendar is typically up to date. I do have an elderly cat which needs special care everyday but i can typically move things around easily. I have 1 cat who need medication 2x a day and has a special diet. I am very flexible with pet care and can do most things that your pet needs.

About: I am currently working at a doggy daycare in Kalamazoo and I have worked at a couple other dog daycare/boarding centers in the past. Some of my tasks at these daycares include: Maintaining a safe and clean environment, reading dogs body language and ensuring they stay comfortable and safe, managing a pack of up to 60+ dogs, basic training, basic grooming, administer medication, and more! About: Dogs and cats and lizards, oh my! I’ve done it all. For the first 18 years of my life I’ve had experience walking dogs, house sitting, and raising my own pets. Then I began working at a summer camp where I was partially responsible for taking care of our reptile family - crested geckos, bearded dragons, and ball pythons and were just some of the cuties I got to take care of. Since then I have taken care and owned cats, dogs, and lizards of my own and on the side have house sat and loved many family and friends pets while they’re gone. I even have experience with some medical administration such as insulin shots to a feisty cat and pills to the dog I currently own. I can’t wait to get acquainted with your family member :) My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most any time a pet needs taken care of, including during the work day and weekends. I have three dogs, one cat and a crested gecko currently who are all very loved and spoiled by myself, my husband and our almost two year old. We’ve taught all the dogs recall, leash training and how to be gentle around young children. Our cat is an old man with feline herpes, one of our dogs needs daily oral medication and the juvenile gecko gets extra attention as he continues growing.

I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: I am a huge animal lover who grew up with cats, dogs, horses, “pocket pets”, and reptiles. I am currently working as a vet tech at a veterinary clinic and have dedicated my life to animals. I have fostered over 500 cats and dogs that were homeless and at risk of euthanasia, and I have dogs of my own. Rosco and Rory are my Golden Retrievers. They love everyone and everything, every new pup they meet is an opportunity to make a new best friend! They welcome our boarding pups with open paws ❤️ I understand how stressful it can be to leave your precious fur babies in the care of another individual, and I am hoping to make that less stressful for you! I can guarantee your animal will love our walks and time together, and I am always happy to send updates and a report on how each visit goes to put your mind at ease! Plus we live on three acres, one of which is fully fenced in which is a lot of fun for the pups to run in! We also love going to hikes and walks on trails and love to take our boarding pups along if the owner approves of walks and hikes. I pay close attention to detail, follow instructions well, and your animals well-being is of the utmost importance to me. I live on three acres. One acre is fully fenced in and I have two friendly pups that love other dogs that will help keep yours company! We do not leave dogs outside unattended and we do not leave dogs that are unfamiliar with each other loose together when someone is not monitoring them. Therefore, I do prefer that dogs are crate trained if they are coming to board in my home. When I board a dog, I am at home for majority of the time they are with me (as I feel the benefit of Rover is that your pets are in a home setting not a kennel). However, if I need to run to the grocery store, etc. I must be able to safely crate any dog. We go for daily walks and hikes as well, and love to play fetch! For house sitting, I do not offer constant care. I can offer a midday drop in on the days that I am off, a dinner visit, and then am there 10-12+ hours overnight. I have visits for other clients throughout the day and pets at home that does not allow for constant care. Rest assured, your pets will receive a lot of love and attention. I have a fully fenced secure yard on an acre of land. Dogs are not left outside unattended ever. We take safety very seriously and animals in my care are treated as my own. I do require all dogs be up to date on vaccinations and prescription flea/tick prevention at least a month prior to boarding. I require proof of these vet records prior to boarding. This is for the safety of your pet, current boarding pets, and future boarding pets. Thank you for understanding! We do have a cat in the home and are able to keep them separate from your dogs if needed. However, this is a bit more difficult during extremely busy times of the year (such as major holidays since they are a bit more hectic).

About: I’ve been taking care of pups and cats since I was around 14 years old! Since then, I’ve had multiple repeated clients and have gained so much experience over the years. I’ve worked with small dogs, larger dogs, and multiple breeds of cats! I know that I can provide the right care and plenty of love for your pet when you’re away. For dog boarding, I have a house which has a big area for running and/or potty breaks. I also don’t mind if the dog/cat sleeps in the bed with me! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I currently work part-time in Richland and I work no more than 9 hours a day. I’m allotted multiple breaks during those shifts. I’m also able to request days off fairly easily to adhere to pet sitting needs. Currently, I only care for my cat, Bugs. I take care of his hygiene and play with him constantly. He’s always doing something with me when I’m around. He’s never bored! I will always keep an eye on your pet to ensure their safety. About: I love animals! I will play with them, feed and water them, and take them for walks. I love to train animals like to sit and shake. I can give baths to them and wash them and I can also get rid of fleas for them. I'm available Tuesday-Thursday anytime unless I have an appointment. I only have a dog and a cat and they're both spayed and neutered, my dog is very playful and has been great around other dogs and my cat likes to sleep a lot so she won't be any bother to your animals. About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. I do have a part time job, but with enough notice I am happy to arrange my shifts to suit your animal’s needs. I typically work evenings. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: Former federal employee and defense contractor (over 25 years)/deferred retirement. I've been boarding, house sitting, dropping in, walking, and running with dogs since COVID. I also provide cat care. Open to other duties as assigned (mail collection, plant and/or pool/spa care, garbage/recycling, snow clearing, etc.). Prices are adjustable, and willing to trade services for a handy person. Golf league couple evenings/week, and ski locally on weekends. Membership Director of the Battle Creek Ski Club - occasional meetings. House sitting radius is unlimited -willing to travel; drop ins or walks within 10 miles please. Safe neighborhood in Battle Creek. I have a .5 acre lot, but only the yard around my pool is fenced in (less than half the lot). Good safety latches on the gates; pool safety cover off-season that dogs are not allowed on. Recently purchased a kiddie pool for the dogs. Dogs must stay on leash during a meet-n-greet at my house, as Rover does not cover those. I do not own any pets or have children, and live alone. I may only be able to adequately supervise 1 dog at a time around the open pool. Bi-level home with carpeted stairs. It has been marked, so if that’s a potential issue, please look elsewhere. 4-wheel drive Jeep, so snow is not likely an issue to get to your fur babies.

About: As of right now i have become available full time for Rover! I have a 9 year old dog and 3 year old of my own very playful and full of energy. There names are Scout and selene. I take animals out at least 3 times a day(if not more) so they will have plenty of time to go do their business and go on walks. I would love to care for your pets in home or for drop in visits. I am available for any type of visit so let me know what your looking for and I can see what I can do! I'll have plenty of time alloted for your pets. Let me know their favorites times for walks, food, play time, etc. I will have them taken care of as if you were taking care of them! About: I have worked at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan for 8 months now and absolutely love working with the dogs and cats there. I have also pet sitted on occasion for a family friend that has 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also have been asked by a friend to check in on her dog and let her go potty outside and give her some loving. I also worked at Camp Wakonda in the nature center so I have experience working with not just dogs and cats, but other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, a snake, bearded dragon, and a hedgehog. I work part time at the Humane Society. My hrs vary depending on how my boss makes the schedule for each week. I usually work Sundays 8 to 3. Sometimes Mondays 8 to 3 if in the dog area, and 8 to noon if the cat area. Tuesday through Friday I work 8 to noon and sometimes a day or two of the week I have the afternoon shift noon to 5. I don't own any animals of my own right now, but I have cared for animals at work and for friends when they need a pet sitter. When I care for any animal I will not neglect them. I will play with them if they want attention. I will groom them if they need it. I will feed and water them if given instructions to do so. I will give them lots of loving.

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs.
